you know im gonna say that this show was a joy from start to finish. it was lightning in a bottle and i don’t think we’ll ever see anything like it, nor do we need to. they gave us love and kindness and bravery and i think the tears will not dry up for a while. thank you for watching this with us and for all your kind comments and most of all thank you for always very loudly recommending this show to us, you gave us this happiness

The next one is Vinland Saga and after that idk, I'm hoping it's HxH and then Demon Slayer. They are def going to fall in love with the characters from both shows

All three are good shows, but HXH is in a class of its own. The fact that the anime came out long before Vinland and DS but we’re still talking about it and recommending it proves how great it is. It’s honestly the only shonen that competes with FullMetal Alchemist for best “shonen” on every ranking site. Though I’d personally have to give it to FullMetal.

I don't think they've ever confirmed that they'll be watching HxH soon, but maybe someday. They've acknowledged that it's a highly requested show, but that's all I remember.

Really enjoyed watching your emotional FMA journey. I hope you consider reacting to the 2003 Fullmetal Alchemist anime at some point in the future. Up until around Episode 24 it’s the same as Brotherhood, then goes in a completely different direction. Highly recommend if you want to see these characters some more

A few odds and ends. There was a calendar released not long after the end of the manga, and the images were photos of Ed/taken by Ed during his journey west. The photos themselves all seemed to be placed on a table that also contained scattered gears and tools, implying that these are pictures from letters that Ed has been sending to Winry while on his journey. If it seemed a little strange that Lan Fan had no dialogue this episode, it's because her voice actress was unavailable. She has some nice final moments in the manga, such as starting to build a relationship with May (in contrast to them immediately trying to fight before), and she was the one who said they needed to bury Fu, with a final sad smile and thinking to herself: "Let's go home, grandfather." In the manga, Roy doesn't have that mustache. I genuinely have no idea why that was added, it's such a strange little addition. Some fans have adopted the headcanon that Ed drew the mustache on the picture lol. Arakawa has also stated that Ed and Winry probably have "lots" of kids. She released some sketches of Ed and Al at various ages through the life, including up to middle age and older, and Ed looks so much like Hohenheim when he's in his forties. She has also said that, were it not for military anti-fraternization laws, Mustang and Hawkeye would already be married. Which says it all about what their feelings for each other are, though it's up to fan interpretation as to whether they have acted on those feelings yet.

Not gonna lie, im gonna miss seeing "FMA Brotherhood reaction" from my Patreon feed lol 😭❤ Its been awhile since I rewatch FMAB, but having you guys decide to watch it made my excitement for this show come back instantly, knowing you guys will 100% love this show! It's a slice of life comedy-drama about kids at a farming school. It's more comedy focused on the whole than FMA, but it can still really hit you in the feelings, and it doesn't shy away from the grimmer aspects of what they do (like growing attached to animals you raise that are ultimately going to end up food, or the struggles of poor farming families, etc). But it also has a very sweet romance, one where you don't have to wait until the very end for romantic progress to happen.

FMA:B really is the television show version of “chicken soup for the soul”. You’re not gonna find another show like it and you shouldn’t go looking for it. well, it's 3:30 am and i'm just recovering from crying like a baby. again. istg that scene of winry walking towards the door with that music will never fail to make me sob. such an amazing end for a completely perfect show. i've been watching your reactions for 2 years now i believe (since hill house) and i've been on patreon for a year maybe? i've watched almost all your reactions except for a couple shows and i have to say that this one goes right to the top. i mean, what could i expect from one of my favourite shows anyway. fmab was my first anime and i watched it when i was in college because my crush was watching it and yeah, that crush never lead to anything but i will always be grateful because because of that girl i ended up watching this show, avatar and korra, three if my favourite shows. that's what i get for being so gay 😂😂😂 only good things no, but really, you've been there for me through though times even if you'll never know it. sometimes when i was just overwhelmed by life i just put on some of your videos and forgot about life for a while. as long as i can afford it, and thankfully right now i can, i'll stay here on patreon because i do really enjoy the community even if some times some of us end up disagreeing about shit. as with every show it was a pleasure and i can't wait for vinland saga, a show i discovered through this community because someone recommended it to me in comments ❤️

By the way, Ed and Winry, according to the official FMA book, had more children than those seen in the photo at the end, it is not specified how many, but it is known that they married in 1917 and had their first child in the year 1918.

This is why I say FMA: Brotherhood has the greatest ending in all of fiction. A good ending usually has the protagonist complete his story arc. This is what FMA did except it did it for all the characters. Almost 40 characters complete their arc in the last episodes (which take place within a day from the narrative's pov). No other story even comes close to this number. And on top of it all it's also a definitive ending. The picture album seals the deal, no questions left unanswered or stories left untold.

One Piece as a series is great, but the anime's pacing has made watching it a chore. That's the risk of adapting on ongoing manga as a weekly anime. They should have taken a 1 or 2 year hiatus at the timeskip.

Yeah...no hahahah, it's NOTHING like Full Metal. Full of pretty gross fanservice plus the plot goes a bit off the rails in the second season. Nice little power fantasy and there are some good character bits in it, but not a show I'd recommend to these two when there's so many better ones they've got to get to first

I really hope you take a chance on the 2003 Fullmetal Alchemist adaptation at some point. There are so many themes and character moments that is just as profound as FMAB that's very different. I think you're misremembering. The second season was the best part of it especially the last few episodes. The whole point was about becoming/defeating god and giving the people a new future just like FMA. And the writing and politics is way more entrenched than FMA. The fanservice is nowhere near that bad it's in maybe a total of 4 episodes out of 50. And there are very few anime that are "better" than code geass so it would make no sense for them to not get to it first then watch the worst ones afterwards. If you think it's not one of the best than I think you're one of those people who just didn't understand nor follow it very well, the writing is incredibly intense and everything has a purpose and it's a fully closed and completed anime without loose ends just like brotherhood.

brotherhood ending is everything a fma 2003 fan could have ever wanted. iwatched the 2003 version destroyed and depressed with no hope and a deep depression. then you see this show where Ed ends up wiht Winry and they have kids. its truly pulls at ones heart and i love it very much. And your reactions have been amazing. the empathy you guys show and thoughtfulness have made it a great ride to watch every reaction. <3
