Yeah this episode definitely made me realize how attractive Tyrell is, esp with the beard. That combined with how genuinely happy he gets and how hard he tries to look good for Elliot endeared me a lot to him. Honestly I just love that this episode is so damn straightforward and shows how much of season 2's confusing ness is because of Elliot. Seeing it all laid out from outside perspective makes me appreciate it a lot! And Irving basically is a Breaking Bad/BCS character who wandered into this story lmao

istg this show is funnier than some sitcoms i've watched. tyrell being obsessed with elliot reminds me of season if of killing eve somehow. the romantic music while tryell was preparing himself to see elliot... peak comedy. i hope they gave that man awards for his portrayal because damn, he's acting his ass off. that lalo guy (i guess the name suits him until they tell us his name) is really interesting and also funny. good combo. the way i was thinking that it would be better for his kids not to see him again only for his story to be fake lol had me fooled. and yeah, that was the actor from princess bride if i'm not mistaken. angela's whole demeanor is a mistery to me. and finally... living really close to a beach is actually overrated. you're not missing much.

tom

Haven't watched it yet so the quote might be off but 'Lalo guy' telling Tyrell that his suit is in his closet is such funny wording to me... XD Tyrell's love for Elliot/Mr Robot is definitely something unique

I'm not a video editor, but having an editor would help save you guys time if you haven't already considered it. I understand if you guys prefer to edit yourselves.

^ This. I think the issue they've expressed though is being particular about what parts they keep in the reaction (though honestly it seems like they tend to keep in like 70% of the episode, and I notice a lot of the reaction-worthy moments have the video be transparent so I wonder what the rationale is behind that), plus for it to be worth it it would have to be for multiple series and then that's a big investment.

is it strange that some reactors like Yaboyroshi is able to do full reactions while showing the whole vid? They rarely run into copyright issues nowadays and always shown full video with no problem. Such a thing wud be a great boon to the channel because ppl wud def pay to see the full reaction and not needing to sync as it wud be easier and they can skip around if they want during it. i just dont know how they do it that most other reactors cant and need to put the timer.

Sebastian

def agree on irving (lalo guy) being a breaking bad character. the wit and charisma of jimmy, the bubbling crazy of lalo, the job versatility of mike etc.

Slaizio

I love it when a show connects the dots. Mr. Robot is really good at it too. Getting answers is always satisfying.

Troy Soldier

Is it me or is there an issue with LM's Mic placement regarding the balance of sound of their voice and the TV sound? I have to constantly turn the volume up to hear all their shows yet, immediately turn it down when the ladies start talking? Just curious...

sand_fl

@tom hfjdojd i didn't even think about that one. yeah, his tendency to say he loves elliot is too funny. can't wait to see his reaction to joannas's death.

Camzeee

It's fine to me. You shouldn't be listening to their audio directly on a full reaction imo. Better to use your own copy and have them at a good speaking volume to listen to their comments. Their TV sound is really just to help sync up.

Troy Soldier

No, I was meaning their reaction videos. I definitely use my own copy on the full. And you're right, the audio works fine. Yet, when watching the actual reactions, the audio isn't balanced between their TV and their voices. I'm sure they have their reasons. Was just curious. I've lived with it this long so...no problem. And I should have probably posted this on the actual reaction video but I always get caught up in commenting on the show. Meh, oh well. It's cool.

Kara

I'm not sure if it's the case here but certain footage has to be quieter or it triggers the automated copyright claim on YouTube. I recall USA network / Mr Robot being notoriously bad for this on another channel. maybe that's why?

T0ast

irving during the day is a used car salesman, place is named after himself. somehow missed that last time I watched.

new here guys question, i thought its okay to upload reaction with full screen full length anime on it on patreon, am i mistaken?

Slaizio

It blatantly violates copyright which is illegal. But the copyright holder rarely know about this and patreon scarcely does anything against creators that do this stuff. I guess because it would hurt their revenue. Which means they seemingly can do it without repercussions. The essence is that it's not allowed but people get away with it.

Kara

to build on that, any use of copyright materials is against US copyright law. however via precedent there is a defence of 'fair use' which allows among other things, a certain percentage of copyright material to be used in transformative pieces (things that transform the media to create a product which doesn't compete with the original product in the same market). So parody, analysis, reactions with commentary are all broadly considered fair use. Uploading a full episode's worth of footage is clearly not 'fair use' and if caught, you could have your Vimeo / Patreon shut down, maybe even your YouTube, and worst case you (or your company) could be sued directly by the copyright holder Many reaction patreons dont care about this because they think the likelihood of it happening is low and are willing to take on that risk. But IMO its a ridiculous risk - what if one day an anime copyright holders decided to start taking down vimeo content? uploaders would be screwed. imo it's not worth the risk of having your entire channel / business shut down but I'm not a reactor so 🤷

Millanos Sarna

Would you guys consider reacting to the Last of Us?

Millanos Sarna

Will do! Im assuming you mean they will do a poll after they upload episode 10BoB on monday?
