Thank you, Harlan, for another phenomenal chapter! OK, here we go... Road. 1. Matches the tapestry. 2. I would like them to meet people and have to deal with that. 3. Potential to discover Prince's carriage and find out more about him and therefore part of Yorick. 4. Easier journey. 5. The first time Arthur was in a forest, he legged it and crashed a car. The second time (?), he had to sacrifice a finger. Nothing good has happened to this man in woodland.

I think this is the first chapter that's legitimately stressed me out lol. So glad we're out in the open, I thought that was going to go WAY worse. Also Yorick forcibly joining in on the laughing fit was hilarious. He's a sketchy little bastard but I do like him a lot.

I love Yorick's dorky little cackle so much. What a little freak. /pos I'd say road, if only because they might find Yorick's carriage and get both supplies and backstory on Yorick. It might be a bad idea though if Yorick's men are looking for him and spot Arthur with his decomposing head attached to his waist. I worry about whether or not they have the food or water for it to be worth potential getting lost again.

I do wonder what would've happened if we had tried the dagger. Considering John didn't have a death flashback when Arthur cut her hand off, it seems pretty likely she was being revived. Trapped in the labyrinth with the witch popping back up like a daisy

Exactly. Another point, one that personally got me thinking the road, was this: Kayne didn't give Arthur and John a deadline, but that doesn't mean he's not impatient. The road is a more direct route, and I'm sure Kayne's watching them. Another thought. Who knows what's in the forest that may want to maim Arthur? He can't afford it, especially after dying once already. In the forest there are more places for Arthur hide... and more places for something dangerous *to* hide.

Also that Arthur may have the dagger and gun BUT he has no idea is the witch has allies nearby or what animals and creatures (like you said) exist in the forest. At the very least, he might be able to find someone who might pity what looks like a mugged man, but that's under the assumption that whoever finds him doesn't also either proclaim him a witch or is a robber themselves lmaoo

Simply listening/watching any media where a character has to hold their breath makes me so anxious. It's like I can FEEL their shortness of breath. Yorick is so sus but from the episode, I gather he isn't doing it by choice or genuinely doesn't know what to do. Basically, he's witholding from them but in a genuine, almost innocent sort of way. Also just imagine seeing this disheveled, sopping wet, single breastplate wearing guy walking down the road with visible pain, talking to himself and has a talking head with him.
