There's been many moments where Malevolent has been personally touching but I think this was possibly the biggest one. The end of the episode had me in tears but I think it was something very important to hear (especially for anyone going through grief). Thank you Harlan

So far I've tried that all of my choices lead with the precept "Always choose kindness", however difficult that may be in the situations Arthur faces, because kindness is not naivety or innocence. But this chapter has reinforced for me that, even if it's hard, I'll keep on choosing it and maybe Arthur will hold on to the belief that he deserves kindness too.

The fact that we've heard a little girl's voice in the background, since some of the earliest episodes, really helped hammer home how much Faroe must have loved and believed in her father. This whole time, she never gave up on him, even when he did.

I was listening back on episode 39 and later in the episode Marie tells Arthur about her son and how he loved the light and how she can sometimes “feel him in it” So maybe light is somewhat like an afterlife for people to look after their living loved ones.
