Arthur trying to ride past her when he’s struggling on the horse would be kind of funny but i think the safest and best bet would be speaking with her. She is standing in front of us and all of the attention is on us.

Well, we can’t just say ‘no’ to talking to her. She already revealed she “knows” Arthur, and she’s literally standing /right there/. It would look more bizarre for the boys to ignore her and ride away with everyone than to talk to her and see what she says/does. As awkward as it is already, I’m sure the crew would also find it rude to just leave a random old woman behind without saying something.
