I absolutely adore that the choice to “gain otherworldly insight, but only at the cost of Arthur’s ability to lie effectively” is STILL having ramifications this far down the line.

I think that renting the room at the hotel is a good idea. It’ll buy some time while the Butcher tries to figure out where Arthur actually is, and I think that’s important enough to sacrifice some cash.

The best part of that is John is very good at lying (as proven in a few instances), but he has to sit back helplessly and let Arthur lie on the spot for the both of them and the mental face palm in his voice each time Arthur struggles with it is painfully hilarious!
