my thought is that whatever is going on in the house, Marie seems to have it on lock with the strict rules. the way she talks about light is noteworthy too. I say don't stir the pot. we have other shit to worry about.

I don't think we should just implicitly trust Marie, a woman who has a room in her house that us currently leaking otherworldly rot into the world. I'm extremely sceptical of her decision to house a lodger right next the otherworldly-rot room. Besides, the line "There is no power like this outside The Dreamlands" definitely makes me think that sleeping there could get interesting.
