Once again, incredible soundscaping. I particularly loved the transition from a room full of people to squirming and writhing things. Baby Faroe ;_; interesting choice at the end here...hmmm. Alllsooo this updated right as i was looking at my phone hoping to listen to the new chapter

I always suspected there was something odd about Arthur's relationship with Bella after Kayne described it as "fell in like" and how he would usually refer to her as "Faroe's mother" rather than his wife. I guess now we know. Amazing audio as usual. I am terrified for what comes next.

I am also unsurprised to learn the real nature of how Arthur felt about Bella, but it truly was good and painful to really hear how much he did love Faroe. To have him be able to speak about her with that love instead of only focusing on the moment when she died as if that was all she had ever been to him, the daughter of his who was tragically dead. I loved him talking about their exploring the park- that was a really special moment to me.

I love this story with Faroe. I didn't realize I'd relate so much to Arthur. I value friendships waaaay over romance, and I adore kids, to see so much of that in a fictional character is so rare, and I really appreciate it. I love hearing how much Faroe meant to him, even as it hurts.

Arthur would have been doing Bella no favors if she'd lived and he had stayed. Leaving would have set her free to find someone else who genuinely wanted to be with her. Of course, there would have been the perenial problem of who got Faroe.
