Feels like a pretty simple choice, we have a good deal of background knowledge of the situation to go off of already in bluffing him, and it doesn't feel like a good decision to rough up a member of the church in the church. Plus even if John definitely isn't a stranger to violence, I don't want it getting normalized for him.

Definitely NOT violence. This poor man does not deserve that. 🥺 And John is already going through his own trials in regards to lying. A big theme of this season seems to be lies or, at least, this arc. I'm excited.

I think we can bluff, we know enough about the situation and Arthur already seems to have the upper hand with how nervous the poor guy seems to be talking to him

Bluff, absolutely. I don't know how much to oversell it, but definitely not the violent route. It doesn't feel like we are at that point
