Not a chance I'm going to vote for Arthur to give away his actual name. To sum up my points from the Discord chat. The Butcher is still on our backs and the first rules of keeping information under control is that the less people know the information, the easier that is to control. Let the serial killer work for it a bit instead of making things easier for him. Secondly, I see exactly zero advantage in turning around now after we got Oscar reluctantly on our side and going "Oh by the way, I lied about my name, soz." That would prime him to think we may actually have lied about something else too. Also, Booth John seems to be hinting us to go with Lester, and it makes my little shrivelled heart happy when I can do the opposite of what Booth John is nudging me to do. So, based on the above, my vote this week is cast for bluff and ain't going to flip (hence me posting this here, which I usually do once I've made up my mind).

Booth John is generally pretty manipulative, but it's usually just a bit of editorializing. This is a much more blatant attempt. Why is this so important to him? I think this could tell us something about his overall agenda.

I don’t necessarily see a reason to tell him except to gain more trust, but priests make vows not to disclose any information given to them in confidence. For him to reveal anything like that to anyone would be going against that. He also has kept Marie’s secret safe, so I feel like if we could tell anyone who we are, it might be him.

I’m not catholic, but my understanding is he can say things in confession- so for instance he can go to confession and tell the father “I met a man named Arthur Lester, and he wants to help” etc And we started this season with Larson acting as a priest getting Collins “confession”. No way that’s just coincidence

I feel like if Oscar does speak with Marie, them both knowing Arthur by different names could cause problems. Plus we still have the Butcher to worry about.
