I say we keep using the alias. Unfortunately, Arthur is likely a wanted man right now. I don’t think it’s a good idea to risk Oscar finding that out and going to the authorities. Also, if Oscar mentions Arthur’s real name to Marie, she’ll have questions about why he used an alias, and that could damage rapport with her. So it’s best to be consistent and keep using the alias, I think.

I agree. While I think using Parker's name may blow up in his face eventually, it is far better than giving a man they just met Arthur's real name, especially considering how close Oscar is with Marie. (Or a secret third thing, which is using "John"! 😆)

Satyr Legs

I think we should definitely stick with the alias for now? If Arthur's able to help with Marie's sister in the long run, explaining he used a fake name along the way would hopefully not be a BIG deal by then

Until the butcher is dealt with, I feel like maybe it'll be a lot safer for everyone if we use an alias instead of disclosing the truth. I think Oscar could be trustworthy, but if he accidentally breathes the name to the wrong person, the butcher will be put back on the trail and will kill whoever is in the way

I really like that, as soon as Arthur decided to decieve, he picked up part of John's speech pattern -- repeatedly addressing people by name.

Yeah, have to agree, using a fake name might blow up in their face later on, but that's only if Marie and Oscar ever actually find out about it. It's much more dangerous in the present to go around giving out Arthur's name to relative strangers, who may accidentally spread it around and lead the Butcher right to them. Plus, I'd rather deal with them distrusting them after we take care of all this, than let Marie know we've been using a fake name immediately after starting to work with her.

The problem with a lie is remembering who knows what, so I think it's best to keep it as simple as we can and use the alias now. If it comes out later that Parker isn't his name, it can be explained that it was a matter of a f safety. Additionally, he's told both Marie and Oscar that he's a PI, so assuming a false name should be more understandable
