This is my favorite game to play every week!! We've gotta go with the second choice, right? We gave the Butcher's description, which we don't match, and what's the likelihood of more than a few employees at the hospital knowing about the call only a few minutes after it was received?

Why has no one said to just put the stone on Larson? He’s already killing people, he’s actively trying to kill Arther, he’s not a great person… let’s just give his body to scratch lmao.

Ehh, I don't know. Larson's whole thing is that he's evil, he wants power and he'll do whatever it takes to get it. I feel like Mr. Scratch and Larson would bring out the worst in each other by providing Larson with the power he seeks and giving Mr. Scratch a perpetually young host body. Remember, Larson is (to our knowledge) immortal. If we give the stone to a human, they will eventually get sick and/or die, which would leave Mr. Scratch compromised (like how he is in Hattie). That won't happen with Larson. So, imo, Larson is probably the worst person we could give the stone to.

What I would like is for Arthur to have a few moments to collect himself and make a plan with Oscar and Marie to have one of them take the stone, but prep the secret room to serve as a holding area once Scratch takes over until a permanent banishing can be achieved with whatever info Oscar has dug up
