Waffle 427

Tuesdays are my now new favourite days!

Waffle 427

Poor Oscar, my baby boy :(

Huh, I wonder what happened to that stone Noel sent back from Egypt. Do we actually know what happened to it?

CoC Game 2 on the Invictus Streams youtube channel goes through it in detail. A good thing to listen to now if one has the time.

ancient egyptian artifact? ancient egyptian artifact that kayne presumably wants john to get for him?? nyarlathotep intensifies.

Me, rattling the bars: Here's how Parker could still live-- Lmao in all seriousness it's nice to get some slow character moments. I'm gonna miss Marie and the rest of the NY crowd. Though I suspect our boys still have miles to go before England is ever a reality.

Have you seen any of the Invictus Stream Call of Cthulu games? The box makes an appearance at the end of Witch’s Mark, and the relevance / references to COC game 2 are piling up

Amy

I like this podcast a normal amount 🙂 also Arthur had better write to Marie istg

Tell Noel everything!!!!! He needs to know ASAP, so he doesn't feel betrayed.

I've been waiting for thiiiiiisssss. That poll a few weeks back where we could have revealed to Noel we have a factured part of the KIY instead of John seems a lot more Consequential than it did.....I feel bad now we made Noel spill everything and now we're keeping something really big from him. Which.... hm. it's weird to me John seems to be concerned that Noel *won't* help us if he knows abiut John's origins wheras he was heeelllllll-bent on not having any outsiders help up to this point 🤔

SeerOfTime

SUCH a great episode. I am SO stressed for the finale. (In a good way. It's a good stressed.)

“Noel has treated me like a person! Don’t tell him he was tortured and imprisoned by my ex! Then might not like me anymore!!”

Nicky
>>125975461

It could also be that he’s worried about Noel trying to stop them, rather than that he wouldn’t help them

Broth Mirepoix

If it's the case where Noel finding out Arthur contains a fractured part of the KIY makes him actively hinder our plan to infiltrate an unrelated (as far as he knows) cult then I'm doubly worried about what John has in store for their upcoming mission. Is it that John would think Noel would stop them because Noel would think or, convince Arthur that this is some huge intricate plan of the KIY himself which, ngl I'm not convinced *isnt* happening 😅

Broth Mirepoix
>>125975461

I'm just suspicious we were reminded via Noel's story that KIY is a master manipulator and I've*been* suspicious that we never got John back at all after Yellow buuuut that might say more about me as a person than anything lol

Nicky

I do think this John is the original John, but I kind of get the theories that he isn’t. I’m confident this “mission” is part of John’s deal with Kayne, not a machination of KIY, and John has indictated that he is terrified if Kayne. If Noel interferes and causes the plan to fail / John fail to deliver on the deal, that could be catastrophic for both him and Arthur

HarpoTheMarx

This is easily in the top 5 episodes of the show, holy shit that was so good
