Harlan is on an early schedule, and so are we. TIME TO GO TO WORK BOYS o7

Indrid Hartley

Listen Dennis, I love you, dearly. But I think his verocity and experience in killing will make him more effective with the cultists. I think Noel is better with one on one combat. Also I'd prefer the butcher dying to Noel...

Catherine Giles

This decision is going to destroy me, thanks in advance Harlan

Courtney Wathne

Definitely the butcher. He's more likely to survive backing us up. As long as we keep Noel in check then we should be fine.

Immy

im sayin noel stays. id understand if he went purely for the satisfaction of attempting to kill the king in yellow, or at least larson, but him even seeing him in the first place has got to have resurfaced at least 10 years of trauma,, the Butcher on the other hand, we see he's pretty damn good at killing and while Noel more than likely could too, we've seen Butcher literally try to KILL arthur. and maybe it'd be nice to see more of the Butcher,, i really adore his character as a whole, though i'd only hope he comes out unscathed, same as Noel and John and Arthur

Waffle 427

Is the butcher a good guy now, I know he seems good but has he given us any reason to trust him? I like him but i don’t trust him.

Rabid’n’Cheez

Without logic I would love some more Butcher content, but knowing what's at stake, I think he should stay behind, knowing his experience with combat.

Queen

hey if you're voting to leave noel behind can you reply to this comment and tell me why if you feel up to it? i personally just want to see the other side

MomoTheMoogle

I have an irrational love for the butcher...and i agree he'd be better suited to staying to face the cultists than Noel would. I don't want either of them to die tbh, but I'm sure one of them will :(

MomoTheMoogle

I wholeheartedly agree - the Butcher makes me inexplicably happy and I would love to see more of him, but I think he has a better chance against the multiple enemies. I also have concerns about Noel facing the KIY, but honestly I could see either option as a potential death sentence for him.

Rabid’n’Cheez

I want to see more content of my bbygrl Butcher because I honestly think he would have some interesting character development. However, I am aware of how terrible he was in the past season, but I would like to know why he decided to help us or Noel bribed him to. But I don't think wed get that if we leave Butcher behind and we get back and see his corpse on the floor before we get anything out of him.

Fisher

Noel coming with us to confront Yellow and Larson just makes the most sense for me given Noel’s arc. Moreover I think that Dennis is having a lot of fun shooting down squids and I don’t think we should take that away from him. Not after all he’s done for us!

Rabid’n’Cheez

Personally, I think Noel would totally be up to fight the KIY for personal reasons (finally destroying what has hurt him for so long), but I don't think he's strong enough. Physically, maybe, but I feel like KIY could easily get under Noel's skin and Noel would just fight out of rage and not logic.

Nicky

For more Butcher content I recommend CoC Witches Mark and Running Dead Redoux. I think Butcher’s comment to Arthur that coming to him with “this opportunity” speaks a lot to his character and motivations. It’s not about money for him, or loyalty, it’s about doing what he loves and having a challenge

Nicky

I also believe he is capable of taking down the elders, and possibly even having a chance to learn more about them / torture some, not just blow them away

MomoTheMoogle

Though I voted to leave Butcher behind, I can also see reason to leave Noel behind. While his hatred and anger toward the KIY are completely justified, I have real concerns that those strong emotions will be a detriment in the upcoming encounter. I don't want those feelings to make him hasty or to end up getting him killed. That being said, I personally feel like the Butcher would be a stronger choice to face the cultists and that taking Noel with us is worth the aforementioned risks (whereas leaving Noel to face the cultists would likely end in his death). I won't be at all surprised if one or both of them dies regardless of the choice, and I can see merits and detriments to either choice, but leaving Butcher is the one I personally feel more comfortable with (even if I would love to see more of the Butcher).

Choco-chi

we can CRIT THE FINAL SEASON 4 VOTE we can do it yall!!!!! i believe in us!!!!

Alasdair Thanisch

I feel Yellow has so much potential for manipulating Noel, whereas the butcher is such a wildcard Yellow might not know what to do with him. I mean, if you're thing is driving people mad then what do you do with someone who's already a card carrying psycho killer?

MomoTheMoogle

And now after reading more comments I'm waffling in my decision LOL. I can see both sides and keep going back and forth

Thomas Hegarty

I’m in full agreement. I don’t trust for a second Noel’s emotions being around two avatars of the King In Yellow. But I wouldn’t want it any other way.

Alice Blue

I really want to have the Butcher join Arthur because Yellow and Butcher interacting is something I need to see. I can't even imagine the KIY being able to manipulate him. At the same time tho I can't imagine leaving Noel behind to deal with those elder things when the Butcher is arguably the better combatant.... honestly I don't even know what to vote for.

Thomas Hegarty

Noel’s reaction to the reveal has me suspicious in the best way. I want him to come just so I can see what he ends up doing with some opportunity.

Queen

hey he reacted pretty well in the last part, he also was either prepped by arthur and noel offscreen about all this early on, or really does see it different than i think we all anticipated. that being said, its clear yellow doesnt even remember noel- so i dont think he can be easily manipulated or re-traumazied or whatever.

Laura A Moore

I dont think this is a hard decision. Collins is having fun killing Elder Spawn, Noel is gunning to kill the King, just like Arthur is, and he deserves the closure. Let’s crit the vote, leave the Butcher behind! :D

Megs

Personally, I’m concerned about a Butcher backstab regardless of which option we go with here. I’m not crazy about leaving the Butcher unsupervised to his own devices, but I also think I’d rather have Noel nearby with us for help if the Butcher does do a heel turn. Maybe I’m wrong, but either way it should be fun!

Nicky

Noel seems to be in a pretty solid frame of mind. He resisted KIY for ten years and I think he realizes Yellow is not the same / not the scale of threat he first thought when he popped out. I trust in Noel

Rabid’n’Cheez

Yes, but at the same time I have this odd feeling that somethings not quite right with him. Like I feel he has something he's not telling us.

larwuś

the Butcher had so much fun killing the elder things why would you want to take it away from him

Alexi

glad we are all on the same page

Alexi

i deffo dont see the butcher double-crossing. hes a creature of pleasure, and he likes arthur and doesnt like larson. sure he will kill for anyone but of the two hes enjoying himself more with the more interesting angle arthur is coming from.

Broth Mirepoix

Arthur and the Butcher are drift-compatible now

SoapCarver

As much as I wanted to leave Noel behind, since it strangely seemed like the safer option than whatever is up ahead, I think that it would be a major disservice to his character to do so. Arthur can trust him, and isn't that what this is all about, really? Even when the truth of John's identity was kept from him, even after confronting his tormentor of TEN years, he was able to recognize the difference and not lash out in anger. Just like Arthur, he deserves to see this chapter through to the very, bitter end.

JustaLoon

People have really good arguments on whether we should leave Noel or the Butcher behind. (Keeping in mind neither option guarantees the other's safety, i.e. the person we bring along might die or the one we left behind, we just don't know at this moment.) And as a simple Butcher enjoyer I would not mind having more content of him. But also I want this man to live in his element and DOOM slay all the freaky monster things. I vote to let the doggy play with his food in peace (violence?) while we get the job done with Noel.

Nicky

I don’t think multiple Elder Things are the “safer” option vs Larson/Yellow. I’m not considering safety in my vote, I’m focusing on character vs scenario. Noel has personal business with Yellow and has a history of working with a partner, trying to take down Charon, which is affiliated with The Order, etc. He’s hard boiled, cool head on his shoulders. Butcher has a history of taking out groups of powerful enemies and absolutely reveling in administering violence with joy. Noel with Arthur confronting their mutual business with Larson and Yellow while the Butcher stays behind to fight 6? Supernaturally intelligent eldritch Elder Things is the perfect arrangement

Megs

I sure hope so, or at the very least I hope Arthur and Noel have a plan on how what to do once Larson is dealt with

Horsebone

༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ the butcher. my love.

Hyde, World’s Best Shoggoth

We came here with Noel and we’re sticking with Noel to the end, he’s my friend. Also Collins is absolutely destroying those creatures he’ll be fine

Adam Frey

I really hope this malevolent isn't done completely after the next episode 😫

Ren the Fox

From a narrative standpoint, Noel DEF needs to be there for the confrontation with Yellow. Butcher’s arc isn’t resolved facing the king, but Noel’s will almost certainly be developed.

Jillian Pogoda

Butcher doesn’t know all Yellow’s tricks, Noel does. Noel knows how to handle him. Butcher is way better equipped to deal with smaller, more mortal enemies I think.

Jillian Pogoda

Don’t worry, Harlan already confirmed there’s a season 5 when he made his video celebrating 3 million downloads

Positive

Seconding the people saying Noel should go and the Butcher stay, but mostly to see how his arc ends, and I think it'd work best if he came with

jewell

I firmly believe the person who stays behind is gonna live so im leaving my babygirl butcher behind. Plus i have full confidence butcher will slaughter the cultist

Nicky

And he has said elsewhere there’s going to be a season 6 as well

HarpoTheMarx

If Butcher stays behind and dies and we never get to find anything else out about him I'm never forgiving any of you

Axel

The butcher is having so much fun rn lets let him have his enrichment time

BeastlyDeath

Butcher is the most brutal and experienced to deal with the extras while we take on yellow
