Hello All!

HUGE episode. Mitch is putting his findings into action whilst discovering a time machine!! This excites me so much because it opens up this shows world in a massive way! Olivia is in trouble - everyone wants a piece of her. We find out more about Peter's childhood too which I'm always fond of those scenes. Hyped for the next episode, like always!

Truly hope you enjoy the reaction folks. Have a fab week everyone! Thank you for the constant love & support!

Much love

Dakara x

yay! can't wait to watch this

This is such a good episode I'm afraid any substential comment I might leave will end up spoilery! So let's just say I loved everybody's interactions and dynamics, and leave it at that ;) The creepy guy's name is David Robert Jones which is actually David Bowie's real name. I like to think one of the writers was a fan. I admit I'm a bit impatient and wish you'd do 2 episodes per week of this show because so many mindblowing episodes await! I just want to see your reaction to those! But then it'd be over faster as well so ignore my impatience ;) I think Fringe is more of my sci-fi type since it's still grounded in reality (somewhat) instead of just space and spaceships, etc. It's kind of freaky tho because the opening credits list some of the fringe science concepts and we're here 15 years later and a couple of them are not considered fringe anymore. I might be wrong tho, I'm not a STEM person at all.

The guy you recognised was a Royal in Grimm Eric Renard. Show is getting good now can't wait for you to see the main story develop more.

Starting to bring some threads together! Loeb the dirty agent using the tech to go through walls that we saw discovered in the episode with the kidnapped little boy. Finding out that he’s working for David Robert Jones. DRJ wanting Olivia for something— we saw in his first episode that he was unusually interested in her when they were face to face. Love seeing you puzzle and theorize! I love that moment on the phone call with Broyles where Nina shows emotion for Olivia. The show was like, “Oh, you thought we were going to let this character be simple and one dimensional? Jokes on you!” The actress is so good. She’s so SO sinister and suspicious, but she also has these moments that make you question if she’s really bad. I love it because she is almost the archetype of the femme fatale, but she’s an older woman who holds such power in every social space and conversation. Ah! I just love her, and the actress was kind of a cult classic fave because of work she did as a younger actress & the creators of the show were so hype to get her on FRINGE.

Gary Marshall

There is so much to enjoy in this episode. Mystery, intirgue, action, humour, explanation of the fibonacci series and possibly the most important...how to properly groom a cow! Loved Miss (Astrid) in this episode as not only does she have a thousand and one things to do she has to learn how to brush Gene's teeth!

Neumann

"oh, do you two want to use the room?" no matter how hard we ship peter and olivia, no one ships them harder than walter. the dude literally never misses an opportunity lmao taking a flight from DC to rhode island seems insane to me; it's only about an 8 hour drive! i'm not saying that sarcastically, that's an easy drive here in the US lol. they must've been either incredibly lazy or in an incredible rush some solid, subtle bonding between peter and olivia this entire episode between him (and walter!) clocking that something was bothering her to all the stuff at the bar. so great to see olivia in a more casual setting and really starting to open up to the team

This episode, my god...lol, I've probably seen it five or six times and I still watch it with my mouth wide open, revelation after revelation, things coming together, other clues being left, just one punch after another, I LOVE IT so much. This was originally the mid season cliffhanger for the first season and we had to wait a month and a half, which is a LIFETIME when when you're watching Fringe. I love watching your mind work as you watch, I'm not laughing at you at all I'm actually amazed by you as I watch you put things together, you're just the best and you're love for this type of show really shows. So very glad to be along for the ride as you take this journey Dakara.

FedeM

Wow Dak, thanks for the shout out! You pronounced my name perfectly, thank you! This Fringe journey is becoming one of the highlights of my week!!! Now about this ep: I agree about the 'best friend' comment not mentioning Charlie breaking my heart a little bit lol. But I do believe it's not really to indicate that he's not a best friend. It's more the show's way of rubbing into the audience' faces how much of a loner Olivia is. Charlie is someone VERY close to her but we don't really see them hang out outside of work. As a matter of fact, Olivia also had a boyfriend but even agent Scott was someone from work. So my point is just that it's another way to stress how much her work IS her life. And that's also one of the reasons why she's so dedicated and brilliant at it

Brian Dworak

Just to add to DB's comment, Jared Harris (David Robert Jones) played Lane Pryce in Mad Men during this same time period. That's probably the series that you recognize him from as I don't remember him being in True Blood.

DakaraJayne

I don't know what show but I remember seeing him with vamp fangs I swear. Never got to watch mad men but id like to
