Hello All!

Can Naiomi be trusted?? That is the question on everyone's lips in this episode. I'd like to think that the gang will give her the benefit of the doubt and allow her to explain - it's if she's honest in return. Protests are strong in the Belter's world, riot's have formed and injuries have occurred!

Much love

Dakara x

TROUBLESHOOTING:

Having trouble watching this video? Please follow the below steps:

- Please make sure you are signed into your Google Account to watch the google drive links. The links are temperamental if you are not signed in.

- If for whatever reason the links still aren't working for you, please try an alternative browser. For example, if you are using Microsoft edge please try google chrome. Again though, you must be signed into your google account.

- The above should solve your issues, in the odd case it doesn't, I can only put it down to it being a fresh upload and too many people are accessing the link...on this occasion I typically leave a temporary link at the bottom of the description. This lasts for 4 weeks after my initial posting. The exceeded views does reset so please be patient & try again on another day.

oft, I didnt realise it was so small haha. glad your happy with it though. I gotta thank you for choosing to watch this series dak. one of my favourites, so excited to follow you through it! here is a question for you. had space travel such as this been possible in your life time, would you have ventured out into the void? or would you be planted forever to earth 😂

Polly

I really enjoyed your reaction to this. It's fun to hear your opinions of the various characters based on what you have seen so far. I think of the show as treating the audience as if we are detectives - we get bits of information which are like puzzle pieces and we have to guess how they fit together.

Ashleep

I don't want to "overhype" but the next episode (104) is the one that really locked me in; can't wait to see your reaction to it!

Neumann

i'm a little surprised you didn't clock the smooth talking dock leader as david robert jones (jared harris) from fringe since you're watching both right now lol

Isak Haugerud

Another great reaction! Still building the foundations of this world and showing us more of most of the characters. We found out that Alex is a Martian navy veteran, now it makes sense why he was always so unwilling to believe Mars was responsible for destroying the Cant. Shed faked his medical credentials, so that explains him panicking and not acting like a well trained medic, because he isn't one 😂 Avasarala was willing to hurt a friend and destroy their lifelong friendship for a political move, as if she was sacrificing a chess piece. Maybe it was worth it, if it prevented a war? And Holden has 8 biological parents 🤯 Looking forward to the next one!

DakaraJayne

Wait what? They're played by the same guy??

PongPong31

Dak would've been on one of the first ships out into the void, amassed her own following, and by the time something resembling the world of The Expanse were to come about, a good chunk of the belters would be speaking with strong northern English accents.

Neumann

yeah! he's got such a distinctive face and voice, i'm even more surprised he wasn't ringing any bells for you lol.

PongPong31

Did you have your subs off for this episode, Dak? I'd recommend having them on whenever possible ^_^

DakaraJayne

Yup, I turn them off for thumbnails and annoyingly forget to pop back on. My bad. Thanks for the reminder

PongPong31

This reaction has a "notable Dak moment" for the future, when your Expanse reactions come out on Youtube. Right at the end there, you look like you've been clubbed over the head, absolutely flabbergasted, "Maybe it is like game of thrones.." XD

Robert

This is what I meant when I said "The Expanse" is not the sort of show that lets you play catch up. Even with the episode recap, there is still a lot to miss. We know now that Mars was not behind destroying the Canterbury. The Earth government is also not behind it. That leaves the terrorist group, but do they have the technology? Maybe there is an unknown group that's using this as a backdrop for their own purposes. Holdens mystery seems linked somehow to what's happening to the crew. This is where I lost the plot threads, so from this point onward, I'll be as much in the dark as you are.

AC10

Have you watched this before? In a 1st watch I feel like she is right where she needs to be in the understanding of the whole story. This is why I love this story so much. You actually have to pay attention all the time. What you think you know at one point is not what is true later on. Which I feel like any great story should be. It's ever evolving.... So it's never boring...

AC10

😜

AC10

Umm... Wait I never had them on when I watched this show.. What did I miss??? (Don't actually tell me just tell me if I missed a lot myself).

AC10

Wonderful explanation. Thank you.

AC10

Hehehe whoo hahaha..

AC10

All the hype is warranted.... IMO only of course. 😬

AC10

Exactly!!! We as the audience are constantly being detectives. Wonderful choice of words.

AC10

Humm... I kinda agree with both of these statements.

Robert

I started to watch it, but my work schedule at the time wouldn't let me keep up' There was so much going on that trying to catch up was just not possible. Now I have a whole new chance;

PongPong31

@AC10. Ah in this case, I meant it mostly to help keep track of, and assist in a quicker familiarisation with the names of different places, ships, characters and even belter creole terms.

Valcor

Did you not recognise the actor who played Anderson Dawes this episode? Not sure on what timeline this is being filmed compared to Fringe... I was waiting for the penny to drop and you to notice him from Fringe but it never happened haha.

Valcor

Yeah she is doing pretty good considering the show throws alot of world building at you.

Valcor

S1 especially is a very detective type of story with Millers storyline piecing information together.

AC10

Gotcha. Thanks
