Hello All!   

We got a half conversation about the stealing of Walter and omg, my heart was not ready! If John Noble didn't win an award for his performance on this show I am dumbfounded! No sign of our Olivia in this one which is worrisome and what's even more concerning is how well alt olivia is pretending to be our olivia!! I'm not OK with that!! This season is gonna be so good, I can feel it!!

I know Fauxlivia is controversial but I find her so interesting. I don't think she's a bad person even if she does morally questionable things. (What does it say about me if by morally questionable things I didn't even think about murder? lol) She's crossing many lines by manipulating everyone and ngl it hits particularly hard with Peter because he's in love with Olivia and she's using that. However, she is a spy in what she thinks is a war. She thinks the survival of her entire universe is at stake. That it depends on her mission. People have done much more for less. She's around the same age as Peter so she grew up in a world literally crumbling before her eyes. And now she's in the universe that not only caused it but seems to still be thriving. That's gotta be rough to witness.  Oh re my use of Bolivia I was just trying to be spoilers free lol She wasn't faking being Olivia yet and since she was technically Olivia too I just stuck to the redverse = world B.

lol yes, fauxlivia (replacing the O with faux btw, not faux olivia, which is more of a mouthful) is definitely a redhead, it's just more of a darker auburn than a bright red like nina. i didn't realize that YOU didn't realize it was red and weren't just calling red "dark." i honestly forgot how many sweet scenes there are between astrid and walter. i remembered that they were a duo and that i loved astrid, but the scenes themselves are always so short and understated that they get overshadowed in my memory :( my full comments are still a tad bit spoilery, hopefully in the next couple episodes, but i can at least say now that i have a love-hate relationship with this arc. the hate part comes from the complete violation being committed unto peter and olivia by fauxlivia. more complete rant to follow later lol

I've never found Fringe at all gory but every single person I've watched react to this show is grossed out by it and it always surprises me. I guess I'm the weird one 🤔😂 About Fauxlivia's hair colour; it's something that's always confused me because they call her hair red but in the final two episodes of season 2 it looks brown. I went back and had a look at the season 2 finale and when our Olivia is dying her hair it clearly says 'Chestnut Brown' on the box so I think the writers just retconned that detail for season 3, although our Olivia still looked like she had brown hair in 3x1 so I'm still confused haha! It fits that Fauxlivia would have red hair though as she is from the redverse. Oh well, it's not a big detail but it is the small details that niggle at me. Great episode and reaction and I love your analysis as always

If it were strawberry blonde then it wouldn't look brown to me it would look a shade of blonde. Spoilers Later on in the season I'm pretty sure Fauxlivia has actual red hair so it's way more pronounced and it fixes the issue. I think she goes through an evolution of wigs 😁

Couldn’t agree more with you when it comes to Fauxlivia, she is such a fascinating character put in an almost impossible situation, because like you said from her perspective if she fails her mission it’s game over for her world as far as she knows and personally i think they do a fantastic job throughout the season to show us that point of view and [SPOILERS] how messy it gets when you insert her relationship with Peter in the mix, such a fantastic arc of this show, can’t wait for Dak to get through it! I think a lot of people end up not liking Fauxlivia or her presence on this side because they get frustrated with the storyline and they equate frustration with bad writing which not always the case, great writing can also cause frustration from the fact that you know something that the characters don’t and the show plays with that very well imo.

Lol it looks brown on my work laptop too but now I'm curious to see on my phone since it's usually a bit different. I agree with you, definitely a bit of a retcon til they found the best wig (wigs are such a hit or miss on tv... usually a miss). But as someone who pre massive greying had strawberry blond hair I can say I've never been called anything but blond. Just with reddish undertone.

She doesn't consider what she did as murder. Just like soldiers who kill their enemies in battle are not considered murderers. She (as far as she's concerned) is fighting for the survival of her world. There's nothing more important than that.
