In the opening scene we see Mei waving to the Martian marines outside the dome, and a few episodes earlier we saw the same thing from the marines perspective. It's these small details that make rewatches so fun! "Inners" are people from the inner planets, i.e. Earth and Mars. Non-belters, basically.

As we're now pretty much into, well, into the show, would you be able to list your favourite characters on the show so far? Let's go easy, and say top 5? :)

Such a good episode this one we get intruded to the botanist guy in some awful circumstances , Holden giving my girl drummer some shit wth how dare you then she gets shot and ngl I was not ok first time I saw the episode but thankfully she was ok phew ! If I remember correctly the next episode is one of my favourites of the entire show if it's the one I'm thinking of ofc 🤔 so really looking forward to that one . This was emotional for sure and again you watched after chopping onions you do know they make your eyes water right 😄 gives the impression u were crying or something lol all joking aside brilliant reaction dak awesome stuff 🔥

Great reaction to a great episode! What I like most about this one is that it shows how "the oppressed" can also sometimes be horrible, evil people. It's easy to sympathize with the belters. As Dawes would say, they've always lived under the boot of the inners. Atrocities have certainly been committed against them before, like we saw in season 1 with Anderson station. But in this episode we see belters murdering innocent civilian refugees, simply because they were born on Earth and Mars. And then another group of belters were seriously trying to nuke Earth, potentially killing millions. In other shows and movies it's common to depict the downtrodden rebels as 100% pure and good, while the dominant empire as being pure evil. The Expanse is so much more nuanced than that, showing us that sometimes the oppressed underdogs can do terrible things as well, and it's not so black and white.

Naomi better tell Holden about the protomolecule before he learns about it himself, or that's the end of a beautiful relationship! The rescue was great! Everything was set perfectly, down to Drummer shooting those two men out of spite. Amos is scaring me at the moment. That talk he had with the good doctor thoroughly scrambled his brain. Now everything is coming to a boil. The Belters have decided that they won't be pushed around any more, and are going to make themselves feared. They are going to give the "inners" the kind of treatment that they've been getting. With peace talks coming up this is the last thing they need. I like that you show emotion at these things, so do I, in a different way.

Happy Belated Birthday Grayson!

A bit morbid, but the pedantic science nerd in me wants to point out, Doris and folk weren't "sucked out" and killed. It's actually really difficult to achieve that kind of force, you need A LOT of air. What happened was they opened the airlock doors, and the ship fired its thrusters to move itself a little bit so Doris and folk were out in space instead of in the airlock.
