Hello All!

New season has begun and they aint slowing down! I absolutely LOVED it! The team are not happy with Naiomi, understandable but I do feel for her. Great to see Fred & Drummer again too, even if things are a lil tense! Cant wait for more of this show!

Much love

TROUBLESHOOTING:

Having trouble watching this video? Please follow the below steps:

- Please make sure you are signed into your Google Account to watch the google drive links. The links are temperamental if you are not signed in.

- If for whatever reason the links still aren't working for you, please try an alternative browser. For example, if you are using Microsoft edge please try google chrome. Again though, you must be signed into your google account.

- The above should solve your issues, in the odd case it doesn't, I can only put it down to it being a fresh upload and too many people are accessing the link...on this occasion I typically leave a temporary link at the bottom of the description. This lasts for 4 weeks after my initial posting. The exceeded views does reset so please be patient & try again on another day.

These episodes just fly by don't they?

Tony Camas

Regarding Drummer calling Naomi "bitch" - I've always seen it as a compliment. If you watch her face when she says it, she's smiling. She's basically saying "so, you're not the perfect angel I thought you were, you're actually kind of a bad ass. You fooled me!" I don't think it's very easy to pull one over on Drummer, and I think Drummer is acknowledging that Naomi managed to do it. I think "bitch" was more grudging appreciation than serious critique.

DakaraJayne

Love this way of looking at it. Thanks Tony

Stretch

36:38 He actually said "I cant do this without you" earlier.

Isak Haugerud

Yep, the 't wasn't super clear, but the subtitles correctly identified it as "can't"

Michael Abberton

I think when Naomi disagrees with going to Io, she is assuming that Holden is backsliding on his declaration about moving on from his proto-molecule obsession and that going to Io is putting them all at risk again with little to no chance at getting Mei back.

Isak Haugerud

We did get a quick scene of an escape pod dropping off the yacht before the missiles hit, hopefully it was the one with Cotyar and the engineer! I guess you missed it because of your mini prayer at 39:49 🤣 And yes, that was Julie on the screen there. "Can't take the Razorback!"

Joost

Well, buckle up, from this point on it will be even more of a rollercoaster :)

Shawn Anomaly

"NO NO NO!" Oh, let me tell you....you're going to have a lot of that as the show ramps up to a complete different level in this season. There's going to be so many insane cliffhangers each episode that you're going to have cliffhanger nightmares!

Robert

I'm with you, the episodes just fly by. That's a hallmark of great writing. Loved when Holden was talking about going to Io, Naomi couldn't get a word in. If Chrisjen and Cotyar don't wind up getting married, there's no justice in the universe. I hope that the team does find Mei, and maybe some answers too. BTW, Pinus Contorta?(or just Contorta). Just doesn't have the same ring to it.

Shawn Anomaly

Forgot about watching the little comment reaction part and just caught that you had reacted to mine! Thanks for that and glad you're loving the show so much! Love the post show commentary, you have good insight into the relationships/interactions between the characters and the characters themselves! Superman & Lois was a nice take on Supe since it got more into his home and family life which usually doesn't take place in live action Superman shows or movies. We've all seen Lois in scenes here and there but S&L dives pretty deep in how Supes deals with being a family man and how they respond to being his wife and his sons!

PongPong31

Editor Dak to reactor Dak, "Sigh, you dummeh!"

PongPong31

I love team ABC so much! Their chemistry is unmatched. They could all have careers as standups.

PongPong31

"Somebody saaaaveeee meeee..." Would love to watch your reactions to Smallville down the line. Your pilot rewatch reaction was lovely. Danke for this season opener though! As Shawn pointed out earlier, it's a wild one.

PongPong31

Oh hey Dak, not sure if missed it during your post episode discussion, but you never got back to that scene with Alex messaging his wife and kid. Just a little reminder, to footnote, incase it just slipped your mind :)

DakaraJayne

It did slip my mind!! I need to start pausing and answering it there and then...nightmare for editing but I'm a nightmare for forgetting those thoughts haha. I'd need to rewatch that scene

PongPong31

Lol no worries, you're doing great. I like these the way they are. I'd have suggested end of season discussion videos like you did with SPN and Buffy, but with the breakneck pace of this show, you'd find yourself doing mid season ones too haha.

Ian

Kicking off season 3 with a bang , bobby was different level and I love to see it , getting to see drummer again makes this episode a 10/10 fact 🙂 I get what you mean dak about soon as one episode finishes you wanna watch the next this show does a great job ending episodes in such a way it leaves the viewer wanting more . I felt the same way with the series black sails that show does the same thing plus it's so friggin good js 🙂

AC10

Hehehehe... I freekin LOVE this show!!

Thadman

I know it's a few months since you watched this, but I think you misunderstood Fred Johnson when he was talking to Drummer. He said, "I can't do this without you," not "I can do this without you," so later when he says he needs her, it's not a contradiction.

Crystal Deth

Naomi is wanting to get back to Tycho since she did get the team back in with Fred but also because she has been reignited about the Belters cause. I don't like the way they made it seem like she didn't care about Prax's daughter since it seems antithetical to her character growth though but I guess it shows how the team is splintered even more.

RemovalOfMasks

13:35 I see a clear role model for Ruby!! Open fire!!! 🔥

RemovalOfMasks

The Expanse is such an amazing show! I can't stop watching your reactions instead of editing Sunday's episode! 😱
