Hello All!   

Poor Walter, he's so lost right now with the absence of Peter and it really hurts my heart! I hope that when Peter returns he can reassure Walter of all the obstacles he's achieved in his timeline. I also prey that Liv feels a sense of calm and peace at the return of Peter. The MOTW shared some parallels with Walter and Peter and I did enjoy that. I hope we see Aaron again after the promises that Walter made.

Hi Dak, love the observer hat! Definitely a slower episode but a needed one to really explore Walter in this new timeline, we got hints in previous episodes but this one was the full focus we needed to understand the main differences in this new timeline and how much he has changed, the big change that they finally reveal in this one after a couple of hints in ep 1 is that both Peter existed in this timeline and they both died in the span of a few days and Walter had to watch both times, that is super dark but it does perfectly explain this new much more broken version of Walter, with this revelation we also find out what the observers changed to erase Peter, they simply didn’t save him from drowning that night. The monster of the week served really well to parallel Walter’s loneliness by having trying to save another “son”, i thought the child actor did a pretty good job and this episode always gets to me with the Aaron and Walter scenes, John Noble is just so good. The end of the episode really throws you a curveball by revealing that Olivia has been seeing Peter too but she sees him in her dreams instead of in the mirrors/reflections, my headcanon has always been that this difference is due to the fact that Walter’s brain is damaged and that is way it manifests Peter in that way instead Olivia’s mind is able to process it better and only show him when she is dreaming. Next ep is a good one (next few episode in general are all really good) and i can’t wait for tomorrow, great reaction as always and don’t worry answers are coming! And then even more questions! 🤣 P.S. I like your thoughts on the Oli is and Lincoln situation and i look forward to hearing other peoples one’s too but there will be time to talk about it in later episodes. P.S.S. Loved that they brought back the guy from the mental institution that we saw in season 1 that Peter had beef with because he wanted to bring back Walter and i like that because Peter is not there he continued to check on Walter after he was released to the FBI, it’s a cool little detail of continuity.

first of all, sorry for taking so long to watch, i was just exhausted last week and didn't have the mental energy for fringe lol. second, omg i totally forgot about this episode and it's similarities to tlou! even uses the same fungus! using that fungus isn't totally surprising since it's relatively famous but the wild thing that this came out 2 years before tlou made it more mainstream well known (well, as mainstream as any revolutionary game was in 2013 lol.) anyway, it's a great little episode, the kid actor did a great job, we get olivia in some more casual clothes, and lincoln is just there being lincoln and not dead lol it's nice to see walter looking a little more like his old self, being good with kids. in some ways, maybe even better because his vulnerability is much closer to the surface than it was in the world where he had peter. woo, that ending was captivating! re that ending comment discussion: oooo september catching FEELINGS! lol

Hope you're okay? The similarities were very prominent with tlou and also very strong between Aaron and Peter. The ending was a fringe classic for sure haha.

oh yeah, i'm fine, i just have two jobs now and just had a bit of a busy end of week on top of that, and while i usually would just watch your reactions at my overnight job at the very least (if not sooner), i kinda just wanted to reread some cw nancy drew fics, not even try to find new ones lol. tbh, not a great call on my part because i'm pretty sure i was more tired after reading than i would've been just watching your videos but whatever. regardless, i'm here now just in time for the next 2 uploads!
