Hello All!

The scene happened where they're all facing other versions of themselves in one room and I am here for it! The plot thickens when it comes to Nina and Broyles in this episode...I have all the questions...I am holding onto hope though that they're doing this for Olivia's benefit?? Jones is really keeping us on our toes though...

Much love

Dakara x

You are quite correct Dakara - this show, when you watch it second time, you clock so many details you missed the first time around. And then, when you watch it third time, you clock so many details you missed even the second time around. And then, when you watch it for the fourth time ... ... (need I go on...?!?)

And that ladies and gentlemen is what a perfect episode of Fringe looks like, no wasted moment, no wasted scene, everything is put there to either move the plot forward or explore the characters more in depth (which in turn moves the plot forward), just fantastic work. I could talk about this ep for days but i will try (and probably fail XD) to contain myself to my favourite scenes. The highlight of the episode has to be Elizabeth, like i said in last week’s comment her scene with our Walter is in my top 5 of the whole show, the lighting when she appears at his door is so crazy that she almost looks like angel that come down from heaven and Walter’s reaction will forever break my heart. I will continue to say this on every episode because it’s so true, this new timeline allows to have conversations that were absolutely unthinkable in the og one and i’m so glad for it because i do think that Elizabeth forgiving Walter is very much a comparable moment for him to receiving the White tulip (which btw he says he didn’t get in this timeline), i just love that scene so much. Another scene that always gives me goosebumps is the meeting between the two Fringe teams at the end, it’s just so cool, which brings up another thing that i love in general about the show and how they have handled the two universes which is that no matter how many version of the characters we see there is always only one Peter, so far he is pretty much the only (main) character that has never interacted with a version of himself and i love it, if continues to make him unique, the boy that was supposed to die in both universes but somehow continues to exist and like i said before but it’s eve i more present in this episode i just adore the fact that they have put him in this role of ambassador between the two side and now an advisor on Jones and how to beat him. Love all of you thoughts regarding Jones at the end there, there is definitely going to be more time to explore his character later on especially why Alt-Broyles and Nina have joined him, i think i saw you a little bit confuse when it comes to his timeline though, the show so far seems to be implying that he did pretty much the same thing he did season 1, meaning escape from the german prison using Walter teleportation device, the main difference with the absence of Peter is that the Fringe team in this timeline has not interacted with him so far so when he crossed to the other side at the end of season 1 there was no one to stop him and he was able to continue with his plans that we never got to see before because Peter killed him, so yeah i don’t think they are implying that there were any temporal shenanigans when it comes to Jones, at least no that they know of so far. Speaking of Jones, absolutely loved his scene with Peter, i just can’t get enough of him interacting with people that he knows so much more about than they do about him and that was pretty much the only time we saw Jones rattle in this episode because he couldn’t predict Peter’s existence. When it comes to Olivia at the end there i do think she is starting to change her opinion on Peter i could definitely see a little bit of spark in her eyes when she was looking at him, we’ll see how that develops…. To close out obviously we gotta mention that final scene between Walter and Peter which finally brings the two characters back together and well there isn’t much to say Josh and John are outstanding opposite each other as always and Josh and John are outstanding opposite each other, so so good. Cannot wait for you to continue with the season, the twist and turns will continue but i think you will love it!!

John Noble is incredible, indeed. That scene where our Walter sees Elizabeth and almost cries from joy is so touching.

I'm all caught up and bummed that I can't binge watch anymore 😞

Elizabeth doesn't show aging for one thing because she isn't quite the same as the other one we met. She isn't worn down by Peter being kidnapped and lost all those years, all that wondering what happened to him. He died as a child after the reset so she came to terms with it much earlier. Also the makeup process may have had side effects on the actress, who knows.

I laughed out loud when you quoted Harry Potter "46?! But last year last year it was 47!"

DakaraJayne

Yas! Another Potter head 🫡 i love to see it haha

31:23 This show IS so good!!! Your reaction to Elizabeth crossing over to talk to Walter was exactly how I reacted ❤️ 😢

Sara Croughan

I'm so grateful that I'm on this episode and I still have the rest to go. I do understand how you must have felt at this time having to wait each week 😭

Sara Croughan

I think this is one of my favorite episodes. I had so many points where I was crying especially when Walter finally went and saw Peter and when Peter said that he's not surprised at all at the man that he is. 😭 ❤️

DakaraJayne

Elizabeth scene killed me!!! So emotional and brilliant episode!!
