WE GOT SOME ANSWERS!!! What a brilliant scene of September showing Peter his son and what he must do - brilliant storytelling imo! Worth the wait too! I hope he figures out a way to take The Observer's advice on board! Nina is also being accused of something that a copy is guilty of! I'd trust no one at the stage so I can't blame Broyles and the team for being suspicious. Things are really amping up now, bring on the next one!

Your theory on alt-Broyles is forgetting that in Peter's timeline he was killed by Walternate's people. He would know if that was done.

Phew 😮‍💨 that last scene is heavy even on a rewatch, you can see Olivia’s heart breaking as Peter is talking it really gave me flashbacks to 3x09 when Peter reveals his relationship with Fauxlivia to her, the journey of emotions that you can see on her face, god Anna is so good. Now when it comes to Peter’s reasoning for leaving i won’t go too into it because there’s a spoiler risk but i will say that much like you caught his reaction was so drastic because he has this inner deep fear of “betraying” his Olivia again and now that he believes/convinced himself that he has to return to his timeline he is fully separating himself from the situation and running away, like he usually does when he can’t handle heavy emotions. Having said that, what Peter’s thinks is happening is not necessarily the truth (it might be) but just his interpretation of his conversation with September and we know how tricky the observers can be with their wording so just keep that in mind as you make theories about which timeline this is and if it actually is Olivia or not, ok i’ve already said too subject…🤐 Now onto by far the best scene in the episode, Peter’s meeting with September, wow what a scene. It’s crazy to think that with a single scene we learned more about the observers than the previous 3 and a half seasons 😅, love the visuals of that scene with images coming in almost like dreams and yeah observer lore is amazing, i love their concept of this super advanced humans that go back in time to observe their roots but then get caught up in the drama of past humans, if you like observer lore stay tuned Dak because there’s definitely more to come….😏 Adored the way Olivia played Jones and Fauxnina the whole episode by having them bring Peter in so that she could use her powers to escape, in general they did a great job at making you doubt which Nina was which up until they revealed it, in general and i’m sorry to say this but og memories Olivia is just better than new timeline Olivia, you can really see that she has her confidence back now that she those memories, she just feels more alive. So now we know thanks to September that Jones’s plan is the same that he had in the og timeline it’s just that in that one he never got to finish it and he needs Olivia and her powers to complete it mmm… START OF RANT I very much dislike how both Lincoln and Walter treat Peter in this episode and in the last one, i understand that they are (rightfully) concerned for Olivia and that because this is a new timeline the don’t know Peter that well (especially Lincoln) but man i still don’t really like that they never give him the benefit of the doubt (it’s especially hypocritical of Walter) and that they immediately start to accuse him whenever something happens with her when they themselves don’t even fully understand it, Lincoln in particular really got on my nerves in this one and i’m sure that his feelings for Olivia were mostly the cause of it but man they were really treating Peter like shit when he has been nothing but helpful to them this whole time and it really pisses me off, give him a break!!! OK RANT OVER As usual an amazing reaction and i can’t wait for next week ep. 15 is another one of my faves!! P.S. I loved your discussion about how the observer kinda work as meta narrative for our own world and what it says about us and our possible future, it really does feel at times, especially on social media, that all of this technology that we have now is making less and less individualistic and more samey and that a future where we all become similar to observers in not so far fetched anymore, that’s a great insight. P.S.S. Thanks for the post ep shoutout, always glad to see that you enjoy my comments and i wanna underscore what is said in that comment by reiterating just how much i love that you are truly engaging with the show and not just reacting (which is a key difference that most people miss), just keep doing what you’re doing and don’t worry about people that don’t get it 😉.

one thing that really irks me with this plotline is how willing everyone is to blame peter as if he's a malicious actor, even while acknowledging that he may not be doing it intentionally. like, if you know he doesn't have control over it, how do you expect him to stop!? what good does it do to lecture and accuse him like he's doing it on purpose?! and what do you mean "let her stay on the case", as if olivia has ever been one to be sidelined?! be so fr lincoln. and the whole "you know that's impossible" (talking about olivia being HIS olivia), like no! no we dont because we've all just made assumptions with only circumstantial evidence and are treating them like bibilcal canon! sorry, it just feels so unnecessarily harsh on peter. also i feel safe posting this slight rant because by now, you have definitely watched the next two episodes already lol. (though tbf, i always felt that way even before we learned the full truth) other than that, this episode is so great! september gets a little monologue where he somehow sounds wondrous despite the monotone delivery, another hint that september seems to be prone to emotions; maybe not as much as august was, but he certainly seems to act more impulsively than the others lol. the actor, michael cervais, does such a fantastic job, this is NOT an easy role
