Hello All!

This is one of my favourite episodes to date! This one just really struck me from start to finish - I was ALL in. Surprisingly my 3 power ladies, Drummer/Chrisjen/Bobbie weren't in it yet it still ranks top 3 episodes for me! The intensity is very much present and there's so much passion and heart that I simply adored it! Naomi is a badass saving Lucia like that and Elvi is an utter legend for doing what in her heart felt right. I hope this works out well!!!....

Much love

Dakara x

Yeah this episode is definitely in my top 5 of the series as well. The Holden/ Miller dynamic in this episode is just fantastic. And the good news is that you still have at least couple episodes from my (and a lot of other people's) top 5 left to go lol.

I think Miller meant the fall was far enough that it would kill him

My favorite episodes that I can think of off hand are 2-12 3-7 3-13 4-9 5-7 5-10 and the last episode of the series

Robert

About time for Miller to make an appearance, the situation could have been a little better though. Now we have two Millers though, and the only way to distinguish them is the hat. The hat Miller is a mental construct working for the protomolecule, whereas the on without a hat is the "real" Miller. Now comes the hard question, what if we have everything wrong? Well, not everything. Maybe the aliens from the planet were actually the ones who discovered or engineered the protomolecule and tried to contain or control it, then the molecule fought back, and created the current situation? Or maybe I'm just thinking to hard? Either way, the ending sequence it what gave me the idea. The doctor is ready to throw "Miller" into the opening, but Holden shouts for her to stop. She can only hear Miller, Holden can actually see him, what if the one he's seeing is Miller with the hat?

Beat Conductor

Miller put himself into a robot of some kind. Holden was seeing the same thing Elvi was.

Wei missjudged Amos. I think Amos values action and honest communication highly and he don't value intimacy more than other actions that most people would and really don't feel... well feelings. So what she thought was her ace was really just another card from the deck. I think this season is overall the weakest. But it's still this good. I'm amazed by the sheer quality of the series.

Personally, I love Season 4, and think at minimum it's a large step up over Season 1. The show was still figuring out what it truly was at that point. I think Season 4 is also one of the seasons that is most benefitted by rewatches. There's a lot of depth to the storylines, that I think people initially miss. Regarding Wei, yeah I think she severely misjudged Amos' line about never lying to her. She took it as a romantic line, that suggested they were still in the "negotiating" phase of the conversation. Like there was still a chance they could be together. But Amos was being very straight forward with that line, as he always is. He was giving her an ultimatum. There was no more negotiation when she said she'd stop him from helping out Holden.

Valid points. I tend to give first seasons a bit of extra slack since they usually have to give alot of exposition to "teach" the viewers what's going on.

Thadman

You may be expecting too much of Amos...emotionally. He never second guesses himself, when he does something he deems necessary. He just keeps moving forward with a "it is what it is" attitude. So, he'd rather not have had to kill Wei, but he wouldn't feel bad about doing what he needed to do.

Dakara: "Can they do it to me? Pleease..." Pure gold, Dakara!!

PongPong31

About how bad the wait must've been for those of us watching in real time, well, there was no wait. Season 4 was, and still is, the only season of the Expanse with every episode dropped on streaming at one go. So dear Dakara, for once, the shoe is on the other foot. Lol.

Dylan Monaghan

I like how Holden says when he is talking about Dr Dresden the proto guy who infected Eros, "I knew a guy who tried to justify genocide, I friend (Miller) of mine shot him in the face". Which is a crazy development from the Holden who screamed at Miller after the Science station attack in season 1!
