Hello All!   

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!! Great season finale crammed with stuff. The best part for me was Thing being Isaac's ACTUAL right hand haha. Great twist. Isaac being defeated by his own flesh and blood, so poetic. Tylers mum trying to take his power without consent and then falling perfectly into the wolf statues arms to her death was unexpected too. Enid risking her human form permanently to save Wednesday was so very heroic but I am worried about her now. They did set up a lot of plot for Season 3, have they been guaranteed another season? Hope you enjoy the cosplay, thanks to Robert and hope you all enjoyed S2 <3

So many twists in this episode, the big one being Things origin! Totally out of right field with that. Also explains Gomez seeming so normal. The accident drained his power completely. Agnes ran because she wouldn't have been able to dig Wednesday up alone, she needed help. Enid going full alpha could mean anything, only time can tell. Tyler being set free was clearly a diversion, I think. A way to keep Issac, and Francois distracted while she freed Pugsley. Finally, Thing fighting his way free. That was perfect. He chose which family he'd rather be with. P.S. The costume looked great on you. And YES, do a Drummer look!

I love this finale, but I think my favorite part is Weems' departure and then Gomez coming in saying "Whoa! It's sunny out there." Cracks me up every time.

I'm not comfortable saying in a blanket way that one season is "better" per se because I feel it's more about personal preference, but I liked the 2nd season a lot. Probably a little more than the first, but it can be recency bias. My reasons for liking it better was 1. no love interest for Wednesday let alone a love TRIANGLE (which felt uncomfortable to me and out of character, even though she never truly expressed interest in either boy vying for her affection) and the season focusing more on the relationship between her and Enid 2. I actually liked them putting Wednesday and Enid at odds a bit because it got all their differences out there and they came to understanding and appreciation of each others' differences as strengths rather than Wednesday alway expressing exasperation and annoyance with Enid's positive personality and idiosyncrasies. They both came to understand each other and I think the best way to do that is for them to come to a head and have to deal with their issues with one another. That episode where they switched bodies is probably my favorite in the whole series. I also love the addition of Agnes. The actress was perfect, coming off as super creepy, yet funny, from the get-go. I'm glad they got her to be more of herself so she can "be your own psycho," as Enid said. The Thing reveal was pretty cool to me, but it definitely split the fandom a bit. Some saying they preferred his past to be a mystery. It doesn't bother me at all that they revealed it, finally. 3. I really liked how much more complex the story was because of the addition of so many new characters with their own agendas, so it was harder to predict where it was going. I heard some people complain while watching about how there were "too many storylines," but I liked it because they weren't confusing and they did all connect in some ways, there were just a lot of avenues for red herrings. Maybe some were upset that they couldn't predict it as well, but I liked to be surprised and kinda prefer when my prediction is wrong. I love sayin' "Whoa! Didn't see THAT comin." 😁

Not only did they confirm a Season 3 back in July, it's going to start filming November 30th this year! So hopefully we'll have a MUCH quicker turn around before we see the next season as compared to the chasm between seasons 1 and 2.
