Friday 13th - good luck out there fellow citizens! There will be a double upload next week with the 'To be continued...' episode!! Felt it would be more fitting for next week :)

Hello All!

Tense episode this one! Dealing with the water situation and trying to recruit inmates to help save the future of humankind! Understandably this wasn't smooth sailing BUT through discussion, understanding and compromise it appears to be working out. I am relieved Cally survived and I'm impressed with Lee's quick thinking and commitment to his ideas.

Much love

Dakara x

That scene with Baltar and Adama talking about the cylon detector - I love seeing Baltar having those dual conversations with an imaginary friend and a real friend at the same time.

Loved this episode. There was a great deal going on, even though there seemed to be only one truly important thing, and that's getting the water. They weren't to thrilled with the idea of relying on convict labor, but there weren't to many other options. President Roslyn's idea of making it so they could earn their freedom was a good one(or was it Lee's idea, I can't remember.). Fun fact, the terrorist, Tom Zerrick, is played by Richard Hatch, who also played Apollo in the original Battlestar Galactica. I knew he was going to cause trouble, when it seemed that he spoke for all the prisoners. When Roslyn pointed out hat he refused to abandon violence, I immediately knew he would have a violent personality. That he wanted things done according to his will, is a nice display of narcissism. Love the relationship between Lee and President Roslyn. She's beginning to see him as, sort of, the son she never had. BTW, those are Edward James Olmos' eyes.

Only 3 episodes in and you're getting invested in the characters which is a great sign as the characters in this show are very layered much like those in Babylon 5 , and many other shows where if the characters are good and interesting one can't help get invested . I agree with you that the acting is great also and that makeup on the wound on Apollos face was amazing 🙌. This show really does have its own vibe , the moody colours and brilliant music all add to quite the show . Looking forward to continuing this journey and all the great stuff ahead

Tom Zarek sucks. He sucks SO MUCH! He loves hearing himself talk and is only every out for himself. He uses grandiose and virtuous messages to hide his violent nature. (Ok rant over) I love the scenes with Adama and Rosalyn. They feel like a divorced couple who can sometimes get along when they need to, but also have an underlying sexual tension and passively bicker with each other.

Uh-oh! Lee Adama beware, Dak's noticed your arms... A little late to the party with this one, and can't get to the next two immediately, but these are always worth the wait. Cracking reaction!

Sure most people have mentioned but I advise against watching the opening sequence (sneak preview), it’s like that episode of supernatural with the trickster they basically revealed that he was behind everything hah and you were no longer surprised , either way seeing how this show is already getting you emotional oh boy… gonna be interesting :)
