Hello All!

Mulder and Scully lost at sea, no it's not romantic! They were rapidly ageing whilst drinking from a toilet...not exactly the date I had in mind! Glad they were rescued in the nick of time. I do wonder if the ship sinking will actually resolve the issue though...what if this effects sea life?! Or spreads elsewhere??

Much love

Dakara x

Everything seems normal with the Google Drive link. Love the whole setting when they get to the ship. So dark and claustrophobic. The fog added to the tone very well; it gave it a sort of gothic feel. It all added to the suspense. I could actually see the Mulder and Scully on a cruise together' Mulder saying the plankton is scheming to take over the world, while Scully is just smiling at him being weird.

Will Gillian ever look that old....thank goodness for plastic surgery, lol.

Joe Villalobos

At least we know Mulder and Scully grew old together...Ba dum tss. Will this be the last time our dynamic duo is on a ship together? Stay tuned, fans...Gillian is 57 now, and it doesn't look like she's aged that much. David looks his age. Gillian is still getting it done.

DakaraJayne

Impossible, she looks after herself well. She's a rare gem that looks better the older shes gets

A little tuck here...a little nip there. 😂

The old person make-up just wasn't it. It's usually pretty hard to get right. Plus I agree, there was no repressing that twinkle in Scully's eyes. Lol. Also, the part where you exclaim, "I don't wanna get old," then pleadingly look to the heavens and go, "we've gotta deal!", is highly clipable and emoji worthy. 🤣 Bookmarking it.

A really good atmospheric episode in a single location similar in tone to Ice and Darkness Falls. My favourite part of this is when Scully is talking towards the end, telling Mulder there was nothing to fear about death after her experiences before, and then quoting Norse legend as well. Again this show is so good at capturing atmosphere with cinematography and lighting which add so much to the story. Love the fact to that Mulder is linking the famous Philadelphia Experiment mystery to this too. They made a film about it in the early 80s. Again this show always pay tribute to classic film plots, and the name here paying tribute to Dead Calm, the great film from 1989 with Sam Neill, Nicole Kidman and Billy Zane set on a marooned boat in the middle of the Ocean. A really good intriguing episode, and as much as I liked this one it is only my second favourite episode that is set on a ship.
