Hello All!

ADAMA NOOOoooOOOOooooo! I cant believe it guys! I'm so upset...How dare they do this to us. Boomer has some explaining to do! Was a hard watch but a brilliant finale. HOWEVER, if I didnt know I had 2x01 to watch, this would have KILLED me as a finale episode. So much left open and all the questions and speculation would have sent me wild! Bring on Season2 guys, Season1 COMPLETED! Loved it!

That shot with Dee just holding Adama's hand? Immediate tears every time. (Also, are her hands really small or are Adama's hands MASSIVE?) Imagine how that day must be for everyone else in the fleet as well. You're just some guy or gal plodding along, doing whatever space job you've got. The two people in the fleet directly responsible for saving you from the apocalypse multiple times are Roslin and Adama, they've got to be like... your idols. And then in the space of no more than a couple of hours, Space Mum and Space Dad start fighting, Space Mum's in prison and Space Dad's been shot. What goes through your head as a background human in the fleet now?

Oh wow we are at the season finale already holy balls that's crazy , shall be watching this over the weekend along with your the boys reaction and the expanse YouTube edit that went up the other day , I'm a celebrity always messes up getting stuff watched but weekend is here so can catch up . I am at a loss on this one. Season two is going to be ... I don't know. I don't remember any of this. I think that Tigh lets Roslin out of the brig, I know I would. Lee is a very different issue. Mutiny requires a court martial, there's no way around that. My main thing, though, is that I can't remember how Starbuck gets back with, not only the arrow, but Helo AND Sharon.

Doing a catch up binge but stopping by to inform you that your clairvoyance seems to be rubbing off on me. I also immediately thought of Baldur's Gate, when Sharon infiltrated the basestar. And I also instantly knew that you were going to reference it a couple of seconds before you did. Haha. Good stuff Dak. Loving these reactions! Onto the next.

1x12 and 1x13 were my first BSG episodes I ever watched. Sorry for a long post, but just like you remember hearing a brilliant song for the first time, this was it for me with Battlestar. My (then) boyfriend and his bff were watching it together, and they always tried to make me watch as well, but i was too into (Classic) WoW at the time and thought they were watching the "old school" BSG. Anywho, one evening they got me to watch it with them, and obviously I had absolutely no idea what was going on. I remember them trying to explain "this is a different Sharon, she's on Caprica with this guy but the other Sharon is on the Galactica...". :) There are a few things that stuck with me though: First, even though he didn't have a lot of screen time, I immediately liked the chief. Secondly, I loved the atmosphere of the whole show, the mysticism, the urgency. And, above all, the music. That scene in the opera house with Baltar and Six and the strings... gives me chills to this day. And that is why I decided to watch it from the start. Brilliant show with exceptional music and an outstanding and chilling ending to a first season.

Yes Dee holding Adama's hand is just soooo sweet and sad. I cry every time as well.

I always felt the music matched perfectly with the intro. It feels like a haunting somber look into survival and when the drums hit it (showing glimpses of what’s to come,) it gives you a sense of action, that there’s a fight coming. And fun fact, this fight scene is were Katee and Tricia became besties. They both love doing their own stunts, so they got choreograph the fight scene. The only thing they weren’t allowed to do, was the fall.
