Hello All!

What a great surprise! Amazing casting! Fun case episode, a supercharged lad with a crush on his teacher and a messed up mind! CHAOS! I do wonder if we will be seeing this guy again, he may be being held in a psychiatric hospital at the moment but I'm sure test will be carried out and in the wrong hands he could do even more damage than he's already done!

Much love

Dakara x

Woah! This is super early. Could this possibly mean we're getting a surprise additional reaction video people? I'm onto you lass!

Fun fact: There are approximately 40 to 60 people killed every year as a result of lightning strikes. Not all directly, though. Some have been killed in their bathtubs, others while taking a shower. Some were killed while they were on the phone. The sheriff, while he was a condescending a@@, was right about ground lightning. It happens mostly on moist pavement. The lightning will hit the ground and continue to travel. Some witnesses described it as "walking". The BBEG was not a likeable sort. He liked to make bad things happen because it was fun. He didn't even start that guy's heart for a good reason; he was just showing off.

Do you wish to re-evaluate your initial 1/10 ugly tie rating? Midway through, you seemed pretty remorsefull with his second tie. Haha. You know what? Let's give Mulder a pass here. 1/10 it is. He's been doing so well this season. I'd have put him down as 0/10's for eps 1&2 on account of him not wearing neckties anyway. Gotta give the man the best possible start to the season.

Joe Villalobos

This episode was so good. The creepiness of Ribisi's character was so good. He did a fantastic job, and Jack Black wasn't known at the time. When I started to notice him in later years, I would say, "Wasn't that guy on the X-Files?" This is the point where the show had become a cultural phenomenon, with lots more guest stars and a music budget. I used to call this The Filter episode. Next episode is top tier...

The scene with Filter's Hey Man Nice Shot playing and Jack Black's character getting hit by lightening and the quarters slowly falling are one of my all time favorite scenes of any show. Also the shot of him on the ground with quarters spread out behind him is such an amazing shot. LOVE IT.

Killian Curran

The X-Files always a great show for spotting future stars, here we see Jack Black star of School Of Rock amongst others, and Giovanni Ribisi who played Pheobe's crazy brother in Friends. Here we have a human lightning rod in the shape of Darin Oswald causing havoc with his electro abilities, I think they must have got the idea for the electrifying Gwen character from Angel here. A decent stand alone episode, but there is better to come. Believe me the very best stand alone episodes in the X-Files are definitely not fillers. Can't wait for your reaction to the next one it is a televisual masterpiece, and one of my personal favourites from the whole show.
