Hello All!

CINEMA!!! Hard episode, filled with emotion, action and lessons! Humans have took out the Cylon base and almost set to take out each other too! In a twist of fate (also known as Gaius), the story changes! Seeing Roslyn struggle with her health and Adama by her side made my eyes water, along with Helo reuniting with Sharon, Kara being there for Lee - as he admits life is getting too much and Gaius opening up to six...My tear ducts were heavily exercised during the making of said reaction...apologies...

Much love

Dakara x

Is there a special school for acting with your eyes that the entire cast went to? Damn.

I don't think anyone would've wanted to switch places with Lee, even though he did have the best seat in the house to watch the fireworks. Sharon pulled helped remind Adama of his basic humanity. Hearing himself brought him back. He remembered that they have to be worthy to survive. With so much riding on his every decision, it's easy to forget something like that. Six killing Admiral Cain was not that unexpected, though I didn't think it would happen right away. The Pegasus Colonel was having a crisis of conscience. He needed to reconcile his duty to his commander, with his sense of right and wrong. That's why he drink's a lot. William Adama in now an Admiral, a well deserved promotion. Better. he got it from his girlfriend. I was smiling during the kiss. I am a romantic at heart. Don't worry about your tears, the scene deserved them. Please stay safe.

Azraelov

so glad your enjoying the series Dak! your not the only one to tear up. love that its not just me that switches to saying frak after watching this show! 🤣

I’m always thankful when Adama listens to his gut more than Roslin. And hearing it from Sharon, puting it all into better perspective was perfect. She asked him on Kobol, “And you wonder why?” This time she just laid it all out in front of him. And truthfully, I’m not the biggest fan of Roslin’s authoritarian views, so every time Adama goes against those views, I’m happy. He doesn’t do it as much after Kobol, because he has feelings getting mixed in with duty now and he doesn’t want to fight with her. I didn’t agree with Admiral Cain’s heavy handed approach, but I do think she probably would have changed her ways if she had survived.

This is one of the most memorable episodes in the series. So many different ways it could have gone. First time I saw this, I got confused by the shade Starbuck was throwing around at Adama. But on rewatch, I realized she was never told the stuff Cain did. From her perspective, Adama was just mad Cain was messing with his people. Also, the complete hypocrisy of Head Six blows my mind. "Thousands of cylons are about to die, Gaius. God will not forgive this sin!" Yet she is fine killing billions of humans?? The double standards! Aghast!

Happy to see the assassination orders were not followed through , can you imagine having to carry that forever it would change them forever . Cain dying ofc was the only way things could go forward which is a shame but that's the reality. Admiral adama has a nice ring to it 🔥. It's going to be interesting to see how things progress now going forward , resurrection ship gone so how will the cylons react to that 🤔. We shall see . Have to say you have a wonderful tan dak anyone would think it's been sunny recently 😀 seriously though you're looking great but with the sun brings allergies right I've been sneezing my ass off 🤧 thanks as always dak this was great

Those 3 episodes were absolutely epic, and the fact that you didn't talk much or anything because you were so tangled up in the whole thing just reminds us of what we probably looked like when we first watched it. :) So many years after first watching this I can safely say that the Laura/Bill ship went from number like 3 to number one after that kiss (20 years ago i thought it was cute, now I am so rooting for them). I always shipped (original) Boomer with the Chief, followed by Kara and Anders. But now it is Laura and Bill. And yes this is BSG so ships do not come as one always desires.
