Hello All!

Tears were shed in the making of this reaction. Everyone had a tough time in this one. From Billy feeling like he was on top of the world to then being rejected for a marriage proposal and getting gunned down. Lee trying to save Ellen to her being her usual self and doing exactly what she wanted to do, to Lee then taking a bullet to the chest and Ellen almost dying. Starbuck going out to save the day to then potentially putting an end to Lee's life. The list goes on, absolutely crazy episode, jam packed with intensity and heart ache!

I’m gonna be honest and say I had an inkling of where things were going with Dee and Lee a few episodes ago and started disliking where they were taking Dee’s character. After this episode, I completely disliked her and Lee got another notch on the dislike. Billy was wrong in expecting anything from Dee, you can’t make someone love you. But, she was wrong by leading him on so damn much. If Dee liked Lee that much, she should have broken up with Billy a long time ago. And by how friendly she was with Lee, pretty sure she was already having a relationship with him while still leading Billy on. And Lee, ugh, he always acts like he’s so morally superior to others. He talks a big game about rules and philosophy, but he’s just a hypocrite. In the end, it was so sad to loose Billy. And as much as I have a problem with Roslin, it was super sad to see her breakdown, because he became like a surrogate son to her.

That rescue went sideways pretty quick. The hazards of dealing with people that are on the paranoid side. Lee tampering with the O2 sensor was a very good way to get someone inside. Unfortunately there was no plan after that. It was all, try to shoot the bad guys and hope for the best. Starbuck was aiming for one of the gunmen, but Lee got in the way; just bad luck there. I can't really blame Dee for turning down Billy's proposal. She's a young woman, and wouldn't have been ready for that step. I was actually surprised that Billy thought that he was ready for it. He did not handle Lee being the "other man" well. I think that might have prompted his doing something incredibly dumb. The switch with Boomer instead of Sharon was great. If it had worked, it would have put an immediate end to the whole thing. As it was, it worked out, just not well.

One thing I really appreciated about this episode, is that it features another wild and crazy Starbuck plan where she goes off half-cocked and her plan........fails? I like that they helped show that she is fallible and can make pretty big mistakes. Sure, they show her making mistakes in her personal life, but rarely professional. I'm glad they made it so that "Let Starbuck Handle It" isn't a cheat code for success. RIP Billy.
