Hello All!

The way Scully is looking at Mulder here in the thumbnail...can we NOT! But onto the episode, this one felt strange to me as Scully seemed completely fine. Aside from that though, the episode was a standard X files episode that I enjoyed. I filmed this one this morning and edited straight after...I've been having a bad few days, apologies if my energy was lower. I'm just glad I managed to get the video out, didnt wanna let you guys down. I gotta film ep 16 now too, hoping it continues from ep 14, wish me luck!

Much love

Dakara x

A couple of links to The Buffyverse in this one as it it was co-written by Howard Gordon, who wrote some of the best BTVS episodes from the early Seasons notably School Hard and Halloween from S2. Of course Channon Roe who plays Derek here is the same actor who was Xander's Zombie Bully in The Zeppo. I thought Kaddish was a pretty average episode where we see some type of revenge on the killers of Isaac. It is however that it is the legend of The Golem exacting revenge, a being shaped from mud and clay. Here again we see the show borrowing from myth to shape the story. Again it has to be said with so many episodes in this show it is still amazing they were able to produce such diverse stories each week, it is a much better episode than either Teso Dos Bichos of El Mundo Gira both of which borrowed from distinctive cultural mythology.

I hope you feel better very soon.

Your reactions were a bright spot in a pretty dreadful past week for me, so I feel like I need to return the favour. Hmmm. What shall we do, Pong? Uno reverse her apology by telling her you be watching this only tomorrow! Yes yes. That should do the trick. Anyway, you're a champ, Dak.

Robert

This was a pretty interesting episode' The Golem(either Go-lem or Gol-lem; I'm not sure of the pronunciation) is an obscure legend. I was introduced to it through the pages of "The Invaders" comic book. It is a construct that is brought to "Life" for a singular purpose, once that purpose is fulfilled it can rest. In this case that purpose was revenge, and matrimony. Jews, as a group, have been the target of persecution since at least the middle ages, probably longer, so their hostility to "semite" justice is understandable. The source of the hate toward Jews is not at all clear. Jew, it turns out, may be an abbreviated version of "Jeweler", but there's no evidence either way.

Thanks for your reaction. Hope you feel better soon. ❤️

You've seen the guy with the big glasses before. He wasn't as much of a bad person there, just self centered. You could also say he also dealt in promotion of propaganda of sorts. In a setting that also had something to do with extraterrestrial intelligence? Something you finished pretty recently. Ring any bells yet? Okay I've run out of teasers. Man played Avasarala's and Errinwright's boss on The Expanse. He was the Secretary General Esteban.
