Hello All!

So THIS is setting an even higher standard for the episodes to come! Insane season opener. The Cylons have taken over New Caprica and Humans are continuing to fight. Starbuck is trapped in a home with a Cylon that is convinced she WILL love him. Ellen is sleeping with the enemy to release her husband from his cell. Adama's are losing hope until a ship manages to contact New Caprica and give them all a reason to keep on fighting another day. It's wild what's happening but I have a feeling this season is gonna be incredible!

Much love

Dakara x

Hope you feel better. Don't worry about your appearance, you always look good. I need to say this first, is there anything more beautiful than a mother and baby? That part with Callie and her baby was the episodes million dollar shot for me. I have a little more respect for Ellen. It was obvious that she felt total disgust for what she did, but if that was the price for getting Sol out of jail ... give her a gun and I know where she'll empty the clip. Starbuck is in a very bad place. I could be wrong, but I think the Cylons are trying to break her mind. I don't like the priest. He gives me Inquisition vibes. Maybe a charming fellow, but I'm sure both Torquemada, and the Marquis de Sade were also charming. The resistance is alive and well, and has a glimmer of hope. Finally, I'm going to hold on to this one, because I LOVE it; and that's Xena Warrior Princess Cylon?!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Nate

You remembered 6 of the 7 known cylons. You forget Simon, the bald black guy who was pretending to be a doctor when Starbuck was captured on Caprica. I am so excited for you to watch the next few episodes. BSG is one of the few shows that just gets better as it goes on.

Looooooooooooooooooooooooove this season!

The fact that your BSG episodes come out on Fridays make the end of the week that much sweeter! It's amazing to me how, 20 years on and many re-viewings in, I can still get emotional at some bits. Same thing happens with Buffy. Maybe I'm just turning into a softie, but I think it's because the writing was SO good. You mentioned all the humans killed in the explosion. There was one line said by Tigh about this not being only about Baltar and disrupting the Cylons. He said that it would also send a message that if you work with the Cylons, you were also the enemy. Quick aside: It's funny that Lee calls his wife Dee and she calls him Lee. But her first name is Anastasia. Imagine if your husband always referred to you by a shortened version of your maiden name!!!

Great start to the season, sorry to hear you're not feeling great hope you feel better soon 💙 . The show definitely feels like it took a shift in time , the colour saturation etc , it definitely gives off a tone of desperation and bleakness. I think you're right we have only seen six cylin reveals this far which is crazy but that just means we are in for some great dak gasps of shock moments 😀 this was great cheers for the fantastic reaction dak , feel better soon 🫂

I mean, everyone has always called her Dee, for her last name. Technically they’re not saying Dee, they’re saying D. And since Lee has known her as Dee for a long time, personally I would feel weirder for him to all of a sudden start calling her by a name no one ever does. Even she never introduces herself as Anastasia, she only ever says Dualla or Dee.
