Hello All!

Scully, please be okay! Some epic scenes filled with emotion in this one. Scully talking to her therapist was needed, her opening up to Mulder was telling and her allowing herself to cry and feel her emotions was so necessary! The x files case, yet again was brilliantly linked to our main characters and I really enjoyed this episode.

Much love

I think Elegy was an incredibly underrated stand alone episode. John Shiban comes in for a lot of stick from the fandom for some average episodes, but he really delivered here. Scully having to confront her own scepticism, and a really chilling scene when she sees 'She Is Me' in the bathroom mirror and the blood seeping from the girl's throat. Disturbing scene also with the evil nurse bullying Harold and mocking his disability. A brilliant exchange with Mulder and Scully at the end where she admits she 'didn't want to believe', a direct contradiction to Mulder back in S1 Conduit where he is crying in the church at the end and it fades out with him saying 'I want to believe' and then Scully seeing the vision at the the very end, a foreboding scene. A really good episode, damn this show is brilliant.

I really enjoy too. Hope she will be okay!

I felt like I was watching "The Sixth Sense". All the victims wanted help, and Harold could see them, so they tried to get it from him. He did get them the justice they deserved, in a round about way. I liked that Harold was portrayed as autistic. Very few people are aware of the truly amazing things they can do. It was interesting that Scully could see the dead as well. I wasn't happy with Mulder's explanation, that the dead can be seen by the dying. Did Scully really need to hear that? The end, where Scully opens up and tells Mulder what happened was very well done. She made herself vulnerable, and Mulder decided to be stupid, tearing into her, telling her she had let him down. She needed to cry. Because as far as she knows, there's no one in her corner.

I guess they did get around to Scully's condition... but it was really an awesome episode on multiple levels. First of all, Scully's eye rolls are sublime. You can feel them (I would die for a Scully eye roll directed at me). Scully's ghost sighting was a great way to show her resistance to the supernatural and reluctance to give in to it. Then seeing Harold's ghost was a confirmation of her condition on death's door. That was such a profound moment for her character, and Gillian nailed it. Mulder and Scully's confrontation scene was painful to watch, because well, we are just human after all. As an aside, the "witch" nurse reminded me of Nurse Kipsy on Lucifer the God Johnson episode.

Two fantastic episodes back to back! We're almost at season's end. You just know it's going to get even better. And remember Dak it's, Scully. Unless it's their mums calling them Dana and Fox, it just feels wrong haha.
