Hi Dakara I do love to see how you react to these episodes. This episode in particular is a real foundation episode for the season, for all of it being a fun case around the whole Diablo set. When you were saying about Michael's manipulation of Lucifer you seemed to concentrate on the vacation. I think that was, in Lucifer's mind, the lesser of the problems. He has often mentioned his hatred of manipulations in general, his mother's and father's. I totally agree about his attitude to Chloe's reaction to the whole Miracle situation, but remember how Michael worded it, putting an emphasis on her being made for Lucifer. And Lucifer didn't down play that, even though he knows from the whole choosing Pierce debacle that Chloe has free will. Little bit of trivia. Detective Dancer was the name of Chloe's character in the original pilot that was re-shot with a few differences and Nicholas Gonzales as Dan. Recently the cast did a live table read with the script of the original pilot, it's on Netflix's youtube channel.

It's quite interesting, from now on, to see that Lucifer seems to adopt Dan's chakra bracelet as a regular part of his wardrobe. Possibly reflecting the playful relationship they have with each other... and at what key points the directors want you to subtly notice he is wearing it.

Man even though deckerstar broke my heart this ep I love the angst. It sucks to see lucifer upset that this is how they reunited he looked so heartbroken, on the other hand Chloe has every right to feel the way she is, like she doesn't have any choice in her own life. I'm super sure that they're feelings are real and genuine, but that's just how I've always seen it. I'm excited for you to see where this storyline goes and what comes next. I love the scenes with lucifer and Michael and that fight really did remind me of how siblings fight when they're little kids lol. I also think that they made the fight look pretty great for it just being tom filming both parts. I hate seeing maze so upset, she obviously had abandonment issues, she cares a lot about eve and eve leaving really brought up those issues again. I love that Linda was there for her, they are one of my fav friendships on the show, love the Dan and lucifer frenemy relationship. I love that Dan is working on himself and I love that lucifer accepted the bracelet! but that cliffhanger though!!

I rage every time Chloe tells him to go back to hell. she doesn’t even act broke up about it and she obviously meant it. What if Lucifer had gone back? What if he had stayed? She threw a temper tantrum and wanted him to go away for millennia.
