Rating - 9/10 - All for that ending! The demigod aspect of this episode didn't resonate too well with me BUT that ending with Jack & Rowena - OH MY DAYS! Rowena letting Michael in had me SHOOK! I hope she's okay! I worry for sweet baby Jack now too - has his soul completely gone?!! I have so many questions...

Jack is not a "sweet baby". Like he says, he's a Winchester and Winchesters make terrible mistake and create problems. Personally, I do not care for Jack. He's okay in small doses, but I hate that Dabb made Jack this all important character, to the expense of the characterizations of our main three boys.

My baby Jack is fine using his magic to sustain his body like Lily told the boys, withtout it affecting his soul, thats what he was doing in the bathroom. Jack has learned to hide his problems from his dads and also is a child who just wants to keep his 3 dads happy and not worry them. Jack saving the day yet again, so proud and worried for him all at once. His speech was so powerful and made me tear up when he said "I am a Winchester". Jack is so selfless and would do anything to protect his family just like a real Winchester.

Jack is an adorable toddler still in many ways and literally by his actual age. Jack is so naive and innocent, so yes he is a sweet baby as well as a Winchester id say. He is an amazing addition and deserved the attention in my opinion. Him and Cas are Dean and Sams family. Jack is someone special they get to raise.

I think I have to disagree because we had a glimpse of Dean as a father in season 6 and so it was nice to see all 3 of the main characters raise a son together. They all refer to him as their kid.

That scene of Jack vs Michael is one of my favourites seeing Jack being so selfless. When you asked the question about jacks grace/soul. Before he lost his grace, I don’t think he was using his soul for his powers. But it probably was why he was stronger than lucifer in season 13 I’m guessing. That’s what I personally think anyway. Looking forward to you react to the rest of season 14 and then 1 more season to go :(

For me the raising of Jack to save the world like Cas predicted in the Season 12 episode The Future, would be a fate worthy of the future labelling of the Supernatural books as the Winchester Gospel. It would be another story about how being a Winchester, with all that that entails, saved the world. The story of them averting the apocalypse would be one such worthy fate: the prediction made by Cas in The Future would be another.

The show was getting redundant and stale. The addition of Jack was one of the best choices they made. Not only is Jack lovable, but Castiel was given a better arc because of Jack. Seeing Castiel as a father figure is much better than what we’ve seen from him in the past.

Agree with you, Amye. For me, Jack wore out his welcome this season. Being a naive toddler with such great powers is not a good mix and has grown tiresome to see this ongoing issue. Some meta writers have suggested that Jack, as an adopted son, is a stand-in for showrunner Andrew Dabb, who was adopted. That only adds to my dislike for his story. The only part I liked with him is when he said he is a Winchester, and pulled courage and power from that declaration.

Great job immediately identifying paralysis as a major part of the killings and guessing about Jack using his soul before it happened! Dean’s annoyance at witches 😂 but Rowena gets a pass. 💚 Dakara: Can we get some wins, please? Me: Be careful what you wish for. Jack sits down next to Dean in the diner and says “I’m fine.” Lol, the two least fine people on the planet. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Positive from the episode (for me at least)…no more Maggie 😃 Negatives: The speed with which Michael was dispatched and that Jack did it, not a fan.

Jack is a perfect character and I love him. His relationship with the other three main characters is a major part of their growth.

This is my favorite episode of the season, I loved the demigod part & the Michael part & how the transition from the first part to the second part was very smooth

Very hard to talk about this episode without giving spoilers. Didn't care for the demi god eating people. I also knew when Dean got his head smashed against the wall that he wouldn't be able to keep Michael trapped, didn't see him possessing Rowena however. Not many more episodes until the final season.

I didn't think about Micheal when Dean's head was smashed into the wall TWICE. On the spot, I was just thinking : this looks very real, I hope Jensen is ok (I know he was ok, but I wince empathically with pain when there is a good stunt sequence with stunt doubles, so thinking of the actors is even more painful...)

~ Saint Tropez, c’est la que je passe l’été ~ Saint Tropez, j’y passerais bien toute l’année … ~ Sorry, I’m just vibing to the song in the scene where the demigod is cooking that guy body parts 😂 On a more serious note, I loved that episode ! There were a lot, from the demigod (eating eyeballs 🤢) to Jack using his powers, and stressing me with the coughing. And also Michael possessing Rowena !

My fave ep from S14!!!! I liked the Gorgon part and his killing spree. The eyeball eating was the best part🤪 Hate that everyone’s lying…Dean is clearly not fine, Cas isn’t fine and my husband Jack is also not okay. Rowena always helping the boys and they treat her like crap… When Noah smashed Dean’s head against the wall I was in shock…Dean’s unconscious and doesn’t have control over Michael. Rowena is so worried bout the boys and Jack. She knows that the magic they used to resurrect Jack is dangerous. Michael did it….he left and he killed all the ppl in the bunker😭 I hate it when Maggie gets so much hate…she is literally the most unproblematic human being and so many ppl in the fandom are so mean to her. Hate all the haters. Maggie always helped the boys and then the writers kill her off like that… Rowena said yes cuz she cares bout everyone. She’s is good person❤️ Yeah both choices he gave her were bad. She had to say yes…but her intention was to save all. YES JACK IS THE SON OF LUCIFER AND A HUNTER AND A WINCHESTER!!!! (and also my husband) He killed Michael and took his grace. Jack is baaaack…but I guess something’s missing…
