Rating - 7.5/10 - I will forever love seeing Sam in a cardigan haha...Let's talk the actual episode though ay? I enjoyed seeing the scenes with Jack, learning about if his soul is completely gone or not & if he will be okay. Talking to Donatello was a nice shout, I truly hope he will be okay but I have a feeling that end scene with the snake is telling us we will have a few issues. I'm also a fan of seeing Cas & Sam working together. The MOTW was a strange but fun one. Never trust anything that's FREE guys haha...step away from the milkshakes!

This is an episode that I'll be skipping on re-watches. I just don't like it. The concept is kind of interesting, but I just can't get into it. It's too silly-stupid, in my opinion. Maybe if it had been given a more serious tone - but not sure. I"d have given it a lower rating.

The only redeeming part of this episode are Cas and Sam scenes which while funny...made very less sense hahah. I could feel Sam's pain at losing the AU people, he must be feeling like such a failed leader even though he is so good at it. I also find it weird that Dean takes Jack to Donnatello for soullessness talk when Sam who lived a year and half without it and has a much deeper bond with Jack is right there...?

Not the best episode, it was slow and I wasn't impressed with the guy controlling people. But Dean and Jack was the best part for me. And I really liked the talk Jack and Donnie had. If the rest of the episode had risen to that level it would have be better. Jack killing the snake because he thought it would help it was unsettling. I can see how Jack not having a soul and being so powerful is ominous.

When Dean was watching Jack pick the food cake, he was kinda testing jack. Then breathe a sigh of relief after Jack finally chose the ANGEL food cake not the devil one. My baby Jack is still adorable with or without a soul and deserves the world. I was worried about him too this episode and noticed a slight change in him. The ending made me sad too because Jack thinking hes doing the right thing and what the winchesters would do is kinda worse than him becoming evil because my baby still just wants to be goodand please his fathers.

I like how this episode Sam is using hunting to avoid his feelings. Usually it's Dean doing that but this time it's him having to tell Sam to slow down.

But Sam is in a weird headspace right now. And he care so much about Jack that I'm not sure he would see what he doesn't want to see.

Interesting. Peoples views seem different on this one. I enjoyed it but as a one off for me. Doesn’t have a binge factor to it. I’d imagine some of the scenes work great in fun edits though :)

Not my favorite. Made me a little uncomfortable seeing Sam act like that. Some great bloopers from the fight scene. The costumes were great and the language was right out of the 50's. Loved Cas' reference to the Saturday Evening Post. Jack is scaring me a little especially since he killed the snake. Donatello using his life experience can be okay using the "what would Mr. Rogers do" mentality. I don't think Jack has enough life experience to be successful with coping.

Really good point about Sam and soullessness. Maybe they also thought that since Donatello is a prophet that he could sense something, or else he has been living more successfully soulless than Sam did.

The fact that I fell asleep while watching this shows you how an interesting I find this episode. I would never willingly rewatch it on my own. I guess there are a few interesting character beats in this story, however the case is so boring and the silly moments just don’t work for me so the episode is just not worth watching for me.

While I think it's one of the weaker episodes of the season(though, I still think it's a decent episode), I can kinda see why they did an episode like this. They probably wanted to do a lighter episode after how serious & emotional the last several episodes have been(from Unhuman Nature through Ouroboros), before going back to the serious episodes to finish up the season.

This is my second favorite episode of the season, i love sam & cas working together, the ultimate chaotic due, love cas being OP, finally, please keep in mind how cas was worried about jack's soul & telling dean & basically begging him to care & to take jack to donatello, remember this for latter, loved your reaction 💙

The comedy and humour were there which is a nice break from the heavy stuff with SPN. Such a good point re Sam. He really stepped up and did a great job, he couldn’t have expected that massacre! Sam should know far too well what it’s like to not have a soul & I do sometimes feel that Dean either forgets those moments or chooses to not return to them.
