I think one of problems Lucifer might have had with Chloe being able to mojo him is the fact that Lucifer had never been able to mojo her.

Season 1, episode 4, about 8 minutes in: Chloe: "Look, let me make myself perfectly clear: I will never, ever, EVER, sleep with you. NEVER! OK? Got it!?" Lucifer: "Playing hard to get. I like it..." Chloe: "When Hell freezes over!"

I'm actually looking forward to your ep8 reaction which was of course the s5A finale. Thankfully, you won't have to wait the best part of a year to continue the story. Having to wait that long after the cliffhanger was like a hell loop. Loving your content. Keep up the good work.

Way back in I think season 3... Linda asked Lucifer "What do you truely desire?" So, unfortunately the amazing writers messed up there :(

I never thought lLnda 'mojoed' Lucifer. She arrived at the penthouse knowing he was struggling emotionally again, as she said, not as his therapist but as his friend (friendship won) and using his own words to try to help him she asked him what he truly desired and I think he just answered her honestly and openly for once and told her 'I want her to choose me'. I never felt any 'mojo' was inferred. If it had been then Luci or Linda would have said something. I think it was just friends talking.

That's what I am talking about Celia. There was no mojo in s3e21, so him asking Linda in this episode was just a mistake by the writers. (again, unfortunately)

Always loving your Lucifer reactions. I love too how you kept swinging between- I'm not sure about Pete- Pete is a good guy- I'm not sure about Pete! I think many of the fandom did the same. I agree that Amenadiel is such a lovely caring angel...he brings such love, understanding and calm to those around him. I also thought Dan's scene at the Churchyard was so poignant (Kudos to Kevin Alejandro) No spoilers but as the season progresses he really gets a chance to shine out his acting chops! Seeing Luci paralysed and helpless and unable to help Chloe was hard but his eyes almost begging her to be careful and aware! That situation must have freaked him out and now he is realising that his vulnerability and lack of power may not always be something to be desired. The next episode is a cracker and actually the next eight episodes after that are epic in more ways than one!

Funnily enough I just rewatched ep 21 season 3 with a friend! I'm sorry but I don't see why it is a mistake as he asked Linda if she had mojo this episode and wanted her to try it. I assumed it had never occurred to him before as he had never had reason to doubt his skills. I thought he has never asked her to try it before has he?

The writers have him recall things like Mr-Said-Out-Bitch and Chloe saying when hell freezes over. When it's something as important as his "Mojo", he would remember anytime anyone has ever said his "thing". Absolutely no doubt in my mind about that. In 3x21 she asked it slowly and with intention, like Lucifer does it the majority of times. In this episode Chloe says it multiple ways, even jokingly and it worked.

The key phrase there, I think, is 'in your mind'. That shows that a writing mistake isn't proven. Also, there is such a thing as panic. He's clearly ruffled.

I'm super late to watching this but another great ep! The beginning scene is all I've wanted since season one lol!! Such an adorable scene! Lucifer and Chloe were so domesticated this ep! It seems like lucifer is obviously opening up to Chloe and I love it! The case this ep wasn't too bad we haven't dealt with many serial killers on the show so it was interesting. Not many people talk about the scene with Dan talking to charlotte's grave but it is one of my favorite scenes, it really made me cry, I just miss charlotte and it sucks what Dan is going through right now, Kevin, who plays Dan is so underrated nd did such an amazing job in that scene! Love the scene with amenediel and maze, their friendship is underrated as well and Lesley (maze) always does her emotional scenes so well, I loved that amenidiel was there for her and knew what to say! And the end scene!! Michael is just so annoying lol, I feel bad for all of them, of course Dan is being manipulated and shoots lucifer because of it, what a cliffhanger into the midseason finale!

One thing you mentioned was the fact the Chloe was in bed with Lucifer's shirt. You were correct in that he was not wearing that shirt the previous night. However, I think that was the shirt she was wearing the last time she was in Lucifer's bed (her birthday while he was in Vegas). I kind of think that after that, Lucifer considered that shirt to be Chloe's. He might not have even had it washed (to preserve the scent). Just a thought.

The writers didn't mess up. You are just nitpicking, because what, you have some bone to pick? This isn't the first time I've seen you making unreasonable critiques towards the writing of this show. Don't get me wrong, the writing is far from perfect, but you're just grasping at straws here.

trust me. The shirt is a trope in Hollywood because it is based in truth, There is very little in this world sexier or more attractive than my lover walking into a room, with her hair still mussed, and sleepy eyes, while wearing one of my shirts! OH MY VARIOUS GODS!
