Rating - 10/10 - Heartache, Tears, Pain, Anxiety & Fear - must be another episode of Supernatural folks! Watching the wake was rough & then seeing the boys argue & try & trap Jack inside that tiny coffin box! I JUST CANT! Cas rocking up too & saying his piece on Jack, love him! I felt for Jack so much in this one, having Lucifer in your head is never gonna be easy, never mind with the weight of everything else! How is this season gonna end????

OMG! Early surprise! I think at this point, all of us were grasping at straws, thinking about the finale, and how the story would possibly unfold. Can't wait for your reaction to the finale. And then Season 15! Wut! This season is like one huge penultimate episode, to the show in itself.

“Are you gonna have another domestic 😅” so true, so Winchesters like This episode was sooo painful for a lot of reasons, you feel everyone state of minds and ah!! I hate that they keep manipulating Jack pretty much since he were born 😔 People keeps forgetting Jack is a child And yeees! That switch in Cas when his family is being threatened, badass Cas is my fav Cas 🥰 Ps: congrats on guessing about the angels and the box 🙌🏻

Thanks for the early surprise Dakara! That scene of Dean crying in the woods is so moving and surprising too. We rarely get to see him like that. Sam's bad lying to Jack compared to Dean's better acting against Jack is very in character I find. Dean has had so much experience burying his emotions, whereas Sam is more open and has a harder time concealing his emotions. I love when Cas stabs Douma, he is so protective of the Winchesters. Think of where he started in season 4 and look at him now... he's evolved so much, with the emotion he feels, especially towards Jack and the Winchesters.

Thank you for uploading early! This was such a scary episode with Jack being under such bad influence and then the Winchesters locking him up. I was convinced at that point that Jack is going to bring upon the apocalypse. They always stress how he is much more powerful than an archangel, so why would they think the Ma'lak box was going to hold him? Great reaction to a great episode and can't wait for tomorrow!!

I'm in a really crappy mood lately, and so I am not likely to contain myself when I feel like people are being unfair about something, so I'll say something that will annoy someone, but I will also be annoyed. So, I deleted the comment I did make, but I know there will be comments others make that I won't like - so best I not comment or read comments. So if I'm quiet, consider yourself lucky. lol

I loved when you got to the end of the episode and were so surprised that it was over already. It was a really interesting episode and now that you have also seen the season finale, do you take back your wish for Chuck to step in? 🤯 I agree that Jack could be a good leader once his mind or naïveté is no longer that of a child. In my mind that would be years away.

I love it. I feel the message of 14x20 perfectly sums up the nature of the show and its worldview, and is completely consistent with Chuck's prior character.

Reread the first comment. 'Now that you have also seen the finale.....' I suppose I could edit it on the off-chance that people who have not seen 14x20 are reading this, though I find the idea of watching a reaction to an episode as you watch along quite unlikely. But I would not have made that first comment if it hadn't been for the statement that Dakara has seen the episode in question.

"I am still kinda in pain that dean said to Cas that he was dead to him" what an entrance, I feel u, this is the episode where everyone is manipulating jack, dummah, Sam & dean, everyone except cas, I agree with cas here too, dummah said mary's heaven can end with a snap of my fingers so cas said u won't be snapping your fingers then 😂 I love OP badass cas so much, I miss that sometimes, a big part of why I enjoyed the milkshake town episode is because cas won fights & got to kick some ass & solve the case on his own, great reaction, dakara 😍

Loved your reaction. I felt bad for Sam having to lie to Jack, made me uncomfortable also. It was mentioned one time in an interview, I think with Kripke, that they had to devise ways to take Cas; power away, or he would just be able to smite everyone. Didn't like the way that Duma used Jack and when Cas killed her you saw the contempt in his eyes at what she had him do. Dean crying always gets me. Jensen said that the scene in the woods was miserable because there was freezing rain happening. You could feel his hate as he was talking to Jack.

I hated what they did to my baby yhis episode. My baby Jack is no monster, hes a kid who made a mistake and actually realises that. Cas is rhe only true father this episode, be never lost faith in his son and saw hes just a powerful kid who needs HELP, not more mainpulation and lies. Jack has less blood on his hands than anyone and is still so naive and innocent, so i dont get how locking him up and or wanting to kill him is an option at all. Bobby and Dean made me so mad this episode, and sam dissapointed me when he let Dean convince him to lie to Jack and trick him. Sam clearly didnt want to and has been in the middle of Cas and Deans ideas/views. Jack isnt savage though Mary was an accident and everyone else he hurt afterwards was manipulation from Duma because she said it would please Sam and Dean. All they had to do was talk to him and forgive him.

Times the boys broke my heart this episode: Jensen, the whole time that Dean was lying to Jack. The barely contained rage in his eyes. The way he says “accident”. In the kitchen Bobby hands Sam a beer, but doesn’t bring one for Cas. Dean would have brought Cas one too, just to include him . . . if things weren’t so broken between them. (Excuse me while I bawl my eyes out.) When Cas is arguing with them about the Malak box, he literally raises a finger at Dean. I don’t think we’ve seen that before. Because things have never been this bad. Sam looking so sad and guilty after they lock Jack up.

Jack is just like Soulless Sam. He has no moral compass, but like you stated he's still naive and being manipulated by those around him.

Gosh, this episode was so hard on both Jack and Sam. I love that Cas and Dean represent the extremes, non-rational, either all pro-Jack or anti-Jack, while Sam is there being the glue. While also having to sacrifice his own emotions to simply maintain the peace and attempt to frankly reduce the harm to the world at large. Including Dean's fragile bab feels and Castiel's inability to acknowledge the fact there is real danger to people from Jack's soullessness-- something I'm sure Sam can comprehend on a deeper level than anyone. I kinda wish Sam pushed back slightly more? Although! I will say, haha. Jack really didn't give them much time there, did he?? A week seems like a fair amount of wait time pft.

I think everyone knew that the coffin can’t hold Jack. I’m slowly starting to dislike Dean. He’s such a dick. Hate when he says Jack’s a monster and he knew it all the time. He NEVER is/was a monster. He’s a “kid” who needed someone to teach him what’s right and what’s wrong, good and bad, etc. He lost his soul cuz everyone’s stupid and that’s when he became a problem. He ain’t a monster he’s out of control. Gosh I hate Dean so much rn. Also hated it when they lied to him. The boys and Duma. She just used him. Threatening Cas to destroy Mary and John’s heaven haha bye bish u dead. Even tho he killed people and Mary it wasn’t only his fault. I just wanted to hug him.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who really started to dislike dean at the end episodes of this season, he has a habit of taking his grief and anger out on his family and the people around him and they don't deserve that. you are 100% correct about jack just being a kid, and loosing his soul, when Sam lost his soul dean did everything to help him and get his soul back and here dean saying jack is to far gone and trying to get rid of him makes me think he never really thought jack was family.
