They announced season 15 was going to be the last before this episode aired I believe. I'm really glad I didn't have the wait time, just like you, because this was absolute mental. Having Chuck introduce the final season, just like the title of his debut episode suggested caught me completely off guard. There are so many existential questions one would have to ask themselves when coming to the realisation that god wrote your entire life for you. Team Free Will has a different taste now. I understand your bitter sweet feelings with this. Once you come to the end of the show, and there's no new episodes anymore, a lot changes. But we're all still here, the fandom hasn't moved on, and I'm confident most of us will stay with you beyond season 15. Thank you so much for being the amazing person you are and creating this community for us!

the wait was horrendous, theories were going round like crazy!! we were all so on edge. they announced season 15 to be the last just after the episode where michael escaped deans mind castiel's speech to jack really hit home for all of us then. "when they're gone it will hurt, but that hurt will remind you of how much you loved them..."

The song at the end was just PERFECT! I'll never get over that! Chuck is such an asshole! This was like, the biggest betrayal ever! Because we all trusted him to an extent. We liked him! Back when we first met him, we just thought he was this drunken Prophet who didn't want anything to do with any of this. Then he was revealed to be God, and we still thought he was on our side and good and we trusted him. Then this happened and it makes you take a look at him and all the past episodes. Something that's amazing is the name of the episode Chuck was first introduced in. The Monster At The End Of This Book. IT IS PERFECT! You should watch this video. Yeah I didn't like s14 due to not being a fan of Jack or Mary. Which ironically is the main focus of this season. Don't get me wrong I don't hate them I just could take or leave their characters. Mary especially dragged on longer than she needed to IMO.

I have been waiting for this reaction forever it feels like. It's bitter-sweet now tho knowing next season is the last. I swear when you finish s15 it's going to feel like the shows ending all over again. These reactions have been my weekly supernatural fix.

The scene with jack getting smited is heartbreaking especially when u notice that Cas was trying to heal him 😭, cas wasn't just trying to stop dean from killing jack but also from killing himself, he ( just like sam) can't lose dean & jack all at one, the two people he cares about most in this world, his family, I understand where dean's coming from but I can't help but question his motives, was he really wanting to end jack because it's the right thing or as a revenge for killing Mary, he says it's the right thing to do but how many times was killing sam the right thing to do? Demon blood Sam that started the Apocalypse, soulless sam who also killed innocent people in cold blood, the darkness wouldn't have been unleashed on the world, had dean just killed sam at the end of season 10 like og death asked him to do, I am pretty positive that dean will let the world burn for Sammy, not saying that soulless Sam & soulless jack are the same coz jack has terrifying powers, I am glad dean came around in the end, the song "god was never on your side" is genius, I can't wait till u can go back & watch chuck from the beginning knowing what u know now, there were signs from the start, seeing the woman in white from the pilot is so cool, great reaction, dakara

Moriah is the name of the mountain on which God told Abraham to kill his son Isaac. 'Lay not thine hand upon the lad...for now I know that thou fearest God.' So for those of us who knew that before this episode, the title was incredibly scary because it meant the brothers were going to contemplate killing Jack.

I do not like jack not because of his character but because the writers are rehashing old storylines using him and it feels lazy. But i love the chuck story. The episode chuck was introduced was called the monster at the end of this book. I believe season 11 was supposed to end with this twist but they might have changed it last minute. So they spent 2 seasons just to wrap it back around to this. Chuck statement welcome to the end parallel amara saying it at the end of 11x22

The “welcome to the end” line gave me chills!! It works on so many levels… I know people dont like Chuck being a writer but I freaking love that concept and in this season finale I feel like they did it right, portraying how and why Chuck is “hands off”… its just a show for him, its kind of meta and I freaking love it. That scene with Jack, Death and the empty smiling!!! Chefs kiss. I love Jack and how Castiel really is a father to him, I love that Cant believe we’re here, one more final season to go and then I’ll be crying on a corner again 🥺. Great reaction, cant wait for the rest 🙌🏻

Well Amara did say in season 11 that it was him who was the ‘evil one’ and that’s why he created lesser beings to lord over them. I’m glad they did do this to be honest because the signs have been there. He created lucifer and the archangels in his image meaning he has that same capacity for evil that lucifer did.

“Welcome to the end” 😭😭😭❤️I personally luved this season. The end song was just epic. I was like this 😮😮😮😮😮at Chuck. I’m with him on preferring the old death though 😂

Every time over this season that you asked where god was, I would talk back to your video - shout actually, "Believe me Dakara, you DO NOT want Chuck back!" I was so frustrated but now you have the big reveal and the end song wraps it up in a neat little package (delivered by zombies), God was Never on Your Side!! I hated seeing Jack smited, the cold hard truth that Chuck obviously was lying about being able to kill him himself, that he saw a perfect storyline in "father killing son", to watch Dean kill Jack and sacrifice his own life to do it. Cas was so desperate not to lose both Jack and Dean. So determined. Love how when Dean gave Cas his options, he chose to walk and pointedly shoved his shoulder into Dean as he left. Dean has learned to just shut down when having to do the most horrible thing to save the world. Sadly, avenging his mother's death was part of the equation this time. Seeing him crying in the woods, in the dark, we all palpably felt the depth of his pain and you can't tell me he didn't allow that pain to fuel his intent to put an end to Jack. Actually we see a glimpse of the future Dean we saw in the episode The End where he was willing to sacrifice everyone including Cas in order to kill Lucifer who wore Sam's face. That same unerving cold, nothing is getting in my damn way, was vibrating off of Dean in this episode. You only have to look at him becoming the soul bomb or making the choice to build the Malik box to create the ultimate horrifying living tomb for him to live out eternity in to know how strong his resolve can be as he shuts out any and everything that might keep him from following through. Sam's disappointment in discovering how Chuck has been playing them is heartbreaking as is the scene in Dean's room when Sam tells him he can't lose them both. I think a mix of disillusion, anger and desperation to save those left that he loves causes Sam to shoot Chuck but always thinking and SEEING options, he aims for his shoulder so if the gun works as it's supposed to, Sam will survive. We already knew season 15 would be the last and seeing who was just revealed to be the villian, we knew 15 would get ugly. It was agony to wait for it over a long summer and twice as awful to have Covid shut filming down when we were deep into the final season and then leave us hanging for months once again. All I'm going to say, my friend, is you are in for a final emotional ride and we will all be here to hold your hand and pass you boxes of tissues. Now let's get on to the lighter side and watch the bloopers before we are plunged into one more season of emotional hell. 😇 😈 💙

There some episodes I enjoy in S14 and this is one of them. All the scenes at the cemetery had you on the edge of your seat. Two main reasons I am not a fan of season 14 overall. The AU hunters plot line fizzled (and was super annoying whenever they were in it). And while I enjoyed Jack in S13 as the new naive character, in S14 I didn’t enjoy him becoming such a central character and the trajectory of his storyline for me was just rushed and redundant. In 1.5 seasons he fought Lucifer and Michael, he died, was resurrected by Cas making a deal, and then went soulless. It took 6 seasons for all this to occur with the original TFW. I enjoyed this episode, though. What I would’ve done differently, is not immediately show Jack with Death and The Empty entity. Clearly something will be happening with them in season 15, so there was no suspense during hiatus about whether he would be back. Since Jack is a popular character, I just think they were trying to avoid the backlash they got when they appeared to exit Cas from the show way back in 7x02 and didn’t bring him back until 7x17. Plus, I was not a big fan of Mary since she returned in season 12. In fact, I used to cheer when she died. I don’t do that anymore, however, since I feel bad that TFW is sad. And really, it felt like another opportunity to fridge a female character and generate divisive anger within TFW. DFW being an opposing sides creates great drama, but it is not fun.

This episode broke my heart. Jack deserves the world and was a victim. I knew chuck was shady soon as he said he couldnt restore Jacks soul. Of course he can do that, hes remade Cas and how many others. Chuck eas the real villian afterall just like Lucy anf Michael said. Jacks first instinct has never been to kill, even having no soul and bekng betrayed by his dads, he only threw them instead of turning them to dust. Jack and Mary was an accident and the others were on Duma and her manipulating a child. Billie was clearly in yhe empty for Jack, plus Jack woke up right away which means the shadow in charge is onboard.

Loved your reaction when Chuck killed Jack. I think most people, now, don't like Chuck/God. Glad Dean didn't kill Jack which would have in turn killed himself, and not sure what Cas would have done. But Sam shooting Chuck was a surprise. Dean, sometimes, seems to not take responsibility for decisions he has made and does tend to blame others. He does come around to the correct conclusion, usually, in the end. Don't understand people that stopped watching after Season 5, they have missed so many great seasons. I continue to watch reruns, but I always look forward to your reactions, and Season 15 should be a great one for you. On to the final season.

WE FUCKING DID IT GUYSSSSSSSSSSSS. NOBODY SPOILED IT! Well done to the mods who might have removed spoilers! I loved this episode because the writers basically called us, the viewers, God. We didn't want the story to end, so they had to suffer :D love it. So, the theory I liked the best (before season 15 was aired and we knew more) was that Chuck.. was NEVER God. He was the third sibling to "God" and Amara. He somehow defeated or tricked "God" and locked him away somewhere, potentially becoming The Empty (Forgetting who he actually was over zillions of years) and this evil sibling wiped Amaras memory & reshaped the universe the way he wanted it and took over the role of The Creator. Which would also explain why souls are difficult, "even for me" he said. It would also explain why he didn't like being called God. Oh, and one more thing. I was more hyped for Supernatural season 15 after this finale... than I was for Avengers: Endgame! That's how much I enjoyed this finale.

Cracking finale and your reaction was super enjoyable as always, Dakara. Your question at the end about how the wait was for season 15. It was really intenense for me personally. I would think of all the possible immediate outcomes and what it would boil down to in the finale. I never got a single detail right, I don't think. Six months from May to October waiting for the season 15 premiere without a word of what would happen, I didn't want any spoilers and I didn't get them. All I knew, I think, was that this season was the final season. And I found out because of that video made by Jensen, Jared and Misha. I don't really remember if that came out before or after the season 15 premiere. Thank you for all your hard work in doing these reactions. I can't wait to see your reactions to the whole of season 15 as terrifying as that thought is. But as you say at the end, there is plenty more content out there to enjoy after the finale. we did know season 15 which be the last and the wait after that ending felt like a year even tho it was only 5 months haha. and i was a since epsiode 1 season 1 watching each week so each finale was a long wait most felt longer than others. and great reaction as always dakara <3

Some lies are necessary to keep the world in order., I guess. That deal Chuck offered made no sense at all. Kill Jack and die and I will bring Mary back???? What’s the point for Dean, he’d be dead. I’m feel like he was lying about no being able to restore Jack’s soul. He just didn’t want him around, too powerful. He was smiling 😊 when Dean was about to kill Jack, that’s crazy. All the way from the monster at the end of this book to this, wow Chuck! Well, great reaction as always. You’ve finally made it to the grand finale, congratulations 🎈! Happy to be here for the end. I know exactly what you mean about the ending of it all. You get used to the characters like you’re a part of the team. Everything from season 9 on was almost new to me because I didn’t see those seasons as much as 1-8. They were mech better the 2nd and 3rd time around. See you in season 15. Adios!

This finale punched me in the gut the same way season 1 finale did. The only difference was that at the end of season 1, I knew I had at least 12 seasons to look forward and no waiting time before the beggining of season 2 (of course, I binged!). For the end of season 14, I knew that I only had 20 episodes left and I had to wait 5 month and a half for the last premiere.

Yeah, Mary was kind of blah. They tried to make her interesting, but all she did was come off as a weak, selfish woman who never wanted her kids to be hunters, but picked up the hunting life pretty damn easily & embraced it quickly. But she wasn't in much of this season, so I didn't mind the smaller doses of her.

I really loved this ending too season 14 I knew it was ending by this finale, and I was already kind of used to it ending abruptly like that and having to wait so long for the next season to get closure and it seemed like it took forever to watch season 15 because of the pandemic but all in all enjoyed your reactions

This season wasn't really my favorite tbh but the ending kinda brought me back. I remember reading about few easter eggs hinting to this but the only one that I remember is that the episode that chuck first appeared was called "The Monster At The End Of The Book"

That phrase also used to refer to putting a mirror at the end of a book, so that the 'monster' would be the reader. That's also true here, in that the viewers are the ones who are entertained by watching the story of Sam and Dean's pain and suffering and thus keep the show going. So both we and Chuck are the monster, for the same reason. Back in Season 4, the use of that episode title meant 'look, Sam and Dean, the subject of this story is you!' Now of course it can be applied to Chuck as well.

One of my proudest moments for Sam -- him standing up to Dean, for once. Telling him his bullshit won't fly this time no matter how many pity parties he throws; this isn't right, and it won't ever be right to just give up on your chosen family. I know Mary wouldn't have wanted that for them or Jack. Hahah, the never-ending feud between God and Sam. Becky, and "Dean, no offense, but your brother is stupid and crazy", and then there's that time he smacked him in the head with a wooden board!! HAHA. Casually shoots God, tho. Jack’s stop lying thing was pretty cool actually. We finally know that Sam is a Celine Dion fan. I had a feeling that Chuck’s gonna show up in the finale just bc Jack is a “problem”. I was a lil sus when he made The Equalizer cuz he is God and he could kill Jack like that🤌🏻 ||Btw I’m starting to hate Dean more and more. He is such a dick idc what happened but he should stop treating people like shit. I also hate it when he calls Jack a monster…I just hate Dean…|| Ofc Dean wants to kill Jack…BUT he didn’t…obviously. Chuck pushing Dean to pull the trigger made me so nervous. Damn…didn’t see that coming…Sam and Dean’s life is just a long tragic story. He killed my husband…another reason to kill God. Sadly didn't work for me, not sure whether it's because I'm using a tablet device, will keep trying as this is one review especially I wanted to watch. Unfortunately for me it still doesn't work. I checked all steps. And tried on two different devices and browsers too. Still same issue. And on bottom Dropbox I get " link expired". Only issue on this reaction by the way. It's strange. On others it's all good.

Yes same here, sorry was working last night but even tried it on my work laptop just now and no joy. Will celebrate when you get a fix.
