TROUBLESHOOTING:

Having trouble watching this video? Please follow the below steps:

- Please make sure you are signed into your Google Account to watch the google drive links. The links are temperamental if you are not signed in.

- If for whatever reason the links still aren't working for you, please try an alternative browser. For example, if you are using Microsoft edge please try google chrome. Again though, you must be signed into your google account.

- The above should solve your issues, in the odd case it doesn't, I can only put it down to it being a fresh upload and too many people are accessing the link...on this occasion I typically leave a temporary link at the bottom of the description. This lasts for 4 weeks after my initial posting. The exceeded views does reset so please be patient & try again on another day.

If the above link doesn't work please use this temporary link below:

Is it Tuesday already? 🤣

"Hello salty goodness" is still one of my favourite quotes from this show! Honestly, young Boreanaz was just lovely to look at. My 17-yr-old self was very into that whole tall, dark and brooding too. That description could actually apply to Owen as well. Both Buffy and Cordy have a type for sure!

That’s Not Acting

PLEASE someone keep her spoiler free! I am loving the fresh reactions that we're getting (and will be getting) as she watches this first season.

Alan Pownall

Life lessons from Giles, that's what I'm here for.

Whisper_dvm

I like so many parts of this episode and there are some truly iconic lines. However I always dislike Buffy in this one up until the last scene where she’s talking to Giles. She feels out of character and way more ditzy than she’s been portrayed thus far. I think SMG was still feeling her character out at this point.

Mirko Paskota

Dakara, as always, your post-episode discussion is great and to the point!

Ian

great air drumming dak love it lol this show is just a lot of fun plain and simple and its great to see you enjoying it so , abusing sarcasm haha that really made me laugh willow is kinda funny ngl :) thankyou as always for making us smile with your wonderful reaction dak

Bart Aansorgh

Good one again. I'm really enjoying this soo much. This probably is gonna be my favourite reaction series, period. Then again, Buffy is my teenage years :). Can't wait for the next ones. Buffy is a bit more typical teen this episode, and its rare that comes out, but fun when it does. I do like the little bit more insight into giles here, and you can see that giles compliments do buffy good in the end of the episode. You can slowly see the relationship between the pack evolve :).

“Don’t go too close….. he went too close” 😂😂😂😂😂. Not everyone likes this one, but it’s one of my favourites from Season 1. My biggest memory though is of thinking that Owen was really cute…. Until Angel turned up. Then it was 🤪🤪😂. Cordelia being ignored by two hot guys in a row is also a classic!

DakaraJayne

I’m such a Wally haha. Can’t believe I nearly missed it!

DakaraJayne

Haha great line. Oh for sure and seeing Cordelia and Buffy always going for the same guys is just an added comedic bonus haha.

DakaraJayne

I hope and pray too haha. I have great mods that help a lot 💙 I’d love nothing more than to experience this with all the twists and turns with unspoiled eyes! 🙏

Jim Greer

I am loving that you are starting to understand what Buffy fans have known for years that this show has many layers that will continue to be exposed . I especially enjoy watching you rocking out to the opening theme music . Love your work Dakara 💕.

GenU

Dakara has fixed the Google Drive link to Buffy 1x05.

DakaraJayne

Why do they always go too close hahaha. Only got eyes for Angel then? 😂

DakaraJayne

The layers are everything! I’m so invested already! So glad you’re enjoying these videos Jim <3
