Happy Monday everyone <3

Here's another TGP reaction for you all to enjoy,

The group have discovered everything!!! The news wasn't received too well LUL! They did work through their emotions by the end though which is good. I hope the decision to remain on earth & try to help their loved ones goes well & that it holds my interest. I always love the thought of them going to the good place so it worries me them saying its not possible now. Such a great episode packed with emotions, bring on the next one.

Thank you all so so much for watching, I will look forward to reading your comments as always,

Have a lovely week everyone! Thank you for the constant love & support!

Much love

Dakara x

I love Chidi in this one. His breakdown really resembled Eleanor before her initial death. Especially the scene in the store. Just throwing things in the cart, no care or consideration for his surroundings etc. Also, great to hear that Heartstopper is on your radar. I adore that show.

I think Chidi is the one who spiralled the most because, having spent his whole life wrestling with moral questions, he's now learned he failed and can't succeed. So he goes to nihilism because, literally, 'nothing' is what he feels he has left. The question 'what festivals of atonement, what sacred games shall we have to invent?' is, I feel, a great one to sum up their journey so far (and Chidi in this episode, given Nietzsche is the best known nihilist philosopher). All this trying to become better people in a world where the people in charge of your afterlife are celestial bureaucrats rather than gods. How will they wipe this blood off them? Perhaps, even though they can't get to the Good Place themselves, by trying to help their loved ones become better people.

It’s been a long and busy week at work that has kept me till now from watching this video, and what a wonderful surprise to see you highlighting my comment at the beginning of it! Thank you! I love watching Chidi break down in this episode. Like you I was very surprised by what he was hiding under his shirts but I truly loved seeing him finally let go of all that structure and rules that he had been so rigidly living by. Okay, yes he was doing it because he had learnt that despite his best efforts to live a good life he was hell bound, but not t was still somewhat freeing for him I think to realise that he didn’t need to stick to that rigidity anymore. And then in contrast, Eleanor realising that she had changed, and that she couldn’t go back to that ‘me only’ attitude she had had before. At the start of the show they were so far opposite each other on the moral spectrum and how to live your life choices, but this episode had them sliding towards each other in the middle, the closest they had ever come to moral ground. Tahani I think, was still trying to bargain her way out of the bad place by giving her money away, I believe seeing that as a large cause of her issues. However her motivation was corrupt so it had no value for her. She was only doing it to appear better. I sort of took her giving the money to Jason as a way of saying, here, see if you can do better with it than I did. I love this episode, and many of the ones that follow as they all try to deal with that closer understanding of how the universe works while trying to save those they love. Also, just have to say, very excited to hear you may be reacting to Heartstopper. It really is beautiful! Thanks for another great reaction!

Jeremy Bearimy is my favorite philosophy lesson from this entire series. Nietzsche's Eternal Recurrence can be a very depressing idea. But Jeremy Bearimy is absolutely ridiculous and silly, and so charming in its implementation within the series. These writers did not hold back in their brilliance.
