Jason's Dad explains a lot haha. Chidi practicing his chat with Simone was enlightening. I'm sad they didn't work out. The revelation of Eleanor's Mum at the end had me shook. Let's see what she has to say & if there is any chance at all that she's able to be 'saved'. Tahani has plans to see her family, which always goes well right? Ha...Bring on ep 7!

Man, Jason never stood a chance. He isnt a bad person, just dumb as rocks from a family of windowlickers. And dumb isnt bad. The family doesnt think they are doing anything bad, just fun. IMO, intent matters. And his family just wants to do things.

I really enjoy Pillboy's actor. He's on a show called "Tacoma F.D." with the guys from the movie "Super Troopers", a funny wee show if you're into that kind of comedy.

One thing that I think makes The Good Place so great is that it keeps pushing the story forward. A different show might have waited until the season one finale for the "Eleanor admits she doesn't belong to save Chidi" plot point, then spent another season before the "We're actually in the Bad Place" reveal. It might have drawn out their time in the reboots before Michael teamed up with the humans. It wouldn't even have needed to be filler - there have been several things they could have explored more deeply without losing the audience's interest. But that's not where Michael Shur wanted to take the show, and I think he made the right call. All of this is a long winded roundabout way of saying "Don't worry too much if the way the show is going right now doesn't grab you - it probably won't linger too long or draw out a story arc that you have to slog through before something new happens." :-)

The Soul Squad is genius. It may have been a slow episode, but they set it up. In seasons 1 and 2 you get flashbacks to the group's time on earth and you begin to feel for each of the characters respectively. In the afterlife, they can learn to accept their past and overcome it, but they never actually get closure because they're dead. Now that they're back on earth, they can confront their past and get the closure they need. Season 3. Episode 6 was a little slow, it but served a purpose. I am predicting that you'll enjoy Episode 7 more. Eleanor will finally confront her mom, and Tahani will confront her family. PS you pronounced my name correctly so thank you. :-)

Sorry dakara been busy lately. Just caught up to your reactions. Love this episode. Chidi and Jason focused. Again chidi is taught life skills that you can't easily find in a random book. Breaking up with someone is never easy and chidi already has a hard time telling people how he really feels so this episode was a hard one. I wanted to share how when i was 16 my first real girlfriend broke up with me through her sister coming over to my house and telling me it was over because she no longer liked me but not telling me why. So i have experience with people being to chicken to tell a person the reason they want to break up. Now with jason and donkey doug reveal of him being his father a new level of humor is added on rewatch of this show. Jason mentions donkey doug countless times and now picturing it being his dad makes it 100x funnier For example jason in season one mentions that he framed shiela (who was going to marry donkey doug and move to sarasota) so his crew would stay in Florida. Now it is crazier that he did that to his dad.
