Hmm. Interesting arrangement.

Jack's World

Any chance you’ll have a TWD list before the end of the year 🥺?

Jon Dub

Doesnt that show have like, 2 episodes left?

m.,

Btvs 5x04?

m.,

Technically speaking only 1 - the penultimate episode just dropped on AMC+ - the finale will air online and on cable Nov. 20th.

Julian Welton

I assume those (Buffy Ep 4 and Angel Ep 5) are releasing as normal this week and the update is for next week onward.

DakaraJayne

Honestly, it’s not likely with the schedule I have right now. Also if I never watch the final eps doesn’t that mean it never ends?

DakaraJayne

Yup, there won’t be eps skipped guys don’t worry

DakaraJayne

I was told this would be the best order. Either way I’ll be watching them all anyways just will be posted in this order :)

Jon Dub

I thought that was TWD's shtick, that it never ends! I think I stopped watching around season 7. My eldest wasn't born when that show started, and she starts secondary school next year!

Koz

And I intend to follow along for the whole thing. 🙂

Jack's World

😭I don’t want it to end either, but I’ve been dying to see your thoughts on the final few seasons. I will hold out hope indefinitely though unless you genuinely don’t ever plan on watching them lol

Ed Green

She can't do that. Angel 22 contains a huge spoiler for Buffy 22.

Corey

I would suggest to do Buffy 19-22 and then Angel 19-22. That block of Buffy should definitely all be watched back to back.

Victoria

I don’t know who recommended you separate out 5x16 and 5x17 with two Angel episodes but… uh… they are wrong. I’d group 5x15, 5x16 and 5x17 together, then angel for a few eps, then 5x18, some more angel, and then 5x19 to 5x22 (and then finish off angel). That’s how I’ve seen other reactors do it, for various reasons, primarily because splitting them up really interrupts the rhythm and momentum of both shows otherwise.

Victoria

Hard agree. Also I would watch 5x17 immediately after 5x16, a two-week angel break would be a bit strange imo…

rattusprat

I agree with all of this. To be more specific, I would suggest swapping the block [Buffy 5x15, 5x16] with the block [Angel 2x15, 2x16], so these Angel episodes are watched first.

Phillip Grischa

While I agree grouping episodes like 5x15 to 5x17 and 5x19 to 5x22 together makes them flow a bit better I also don't think separating them is a big deal, I'm old enough to have watched Buffy on tv when it aired and obviously all of us back then watched things in between the episodes because they aired over several weeks. A tv series is designed to be watched with breaks between episodes so doing it like this is not a real problem.

I had the very last (illegally downloaded) episode of Buffy on my computer for months as I couldn't bear to watch it as then the show was over. Little did I know that the concept of Buffy reactions would be developed, which are nearly as much fun to watch!

AlyAdmirer

DING! DING! DING! DING! :-)

Gau Thier

Would also suggest doing the final four of Buffy then the final four of Angel and grouping 5x15 to 5x17. Makes for a much interesting experience.

Purple Nurple

There was a discussion on discord about the watch order. We didn't want 5x15 and 5x16 to be split. and angel 2x17 had to come after 5x17, we also didn't want more than 2 episodes in a row for each show. Us who watched it live had to swap from one show to the other, so it's not too big of an issue. The previous one had some stuff out of order so it needed to be changed up

Ed Green

Personally I'd rather there be 3 Angel episodes in a row than a gap between Buffy 16 and 17.

x_Rhi_x

Buffy 22 is before angel 22 on the list tho, so I'm Not sure what you mean
