Hello All!

The keys continue in this episode & I am here for it! Love seeing Nick & Monroe really working closely but I do worry when our group is split! Adalind & Nick get super close before his adventure to Germany. I was also convinced Renard was the target of an attack in this one...there has to be more to this story! 100th episode next question mark

Hope you enjoy the reaction folks. Have a lovely week everyone! Thank you for the constant love & support!

Much love

Dakara x

I really like this episode because you have two stories going on. It was like the Clint Eastwood movie In The Line of Fire (1993) mixed with a buddies road trip movie. Nick and Monroe have a very strong friendship and they'd do anything for each other. I was also worried about Rosalee and Adalind (and the baby) being left on their own and I don't think that's sexist because we've seen both in action, and to be fair, men have an inherent instinct to protect women and so we can get that feeling even while watching fictional stories. I really related to Monroe's line of never being able to find his glasses. I don't have regular glasses (although I've needed them for almost a year), but I've been wearing reading glasses since 2015. I started at +1.50 and am now +3.00. For years I'd only have one pair that I replaced now and then when one of the stems broke off. Now? As I got older, particularly starting in 2023, I misplace my glasses all the time. I currently own about 10 pairs that I leave in various places around the house: main floor, upstairs by my bed, down in the basement by the computer, plus spares. At this moment I'm wearing a pair while sitting at the computer and have 2 extras right next to it. I also have half a dozen with only 1 stem just in case. Oh and all the loose stems. I should really just throw them out, but "what if?", ya know? Why do you ramble, Brian... With the assassination plot, I thought that when Marwan arrived to see and test the gun and said he only needed one bullet it was hubris, but then he woged and of course he was an Uhranuti, a falcon Wesen; All birds of prey have amazing eyesight and can spot their prey from over a mile away. I'm assuming that they didn't have the budget to actually film in Germany, but it was very well done. I appreciated that they didn't dumb it down to where everyone spoke English with a German accent. The church itself was magnificent and really reminded me in a lot of ways of my church when I was a kid. I grew up in Chicago and went to a Catholic grade school and an all-boys Catholic high school. I've lived in Tennessee since 1995, but when I visit I go to the St. Edward Church of my youth and just sit peacefully and remember those days. My only issue with this episode is yet another pet peeve I have in movies and series': when the person driving is having a conversation with the passenger and looks at them for WAY too long; how are you not veering across lanes and crashing your car? As my stupid nanny of a car keeps telling me, "Keep eyes on road". Dude, I'm checking traffic and looking for street names. STFU Oh, and "To Be Continued"?! Actually, I figured as such tbh, I can appreciate this two-parter (three, question mark?) as it's a pretty riveting duo storyline. Thank you Dak, always a great time. See you tomorrow!

On the other end of visual imparity with a -3.75 here. So yup, like socks, one can never have to many glasses!

We're almost at 100! Every episode is a tease and a hype deliverance train all in one. But the next is special.

It's a weird feeling when this type of thing happens, isn't it. You're going about your life like normal and all of a sudden you're not. Mortality sets in and it's quite unsettling. But you adjust and cope, but also worry.

Loved the analysis to this episode. I have rewatched this show at least 4 times🙈 and never actually picked up that after Nick and Adalind's little moment, they switch straight to Eve/Juliette. These directors sure do love a mess, haha. To save you the spoilers, there's only one season left after this one and it has 13 episodes.
