New patreon supporter Robert S. posted this on my page recently:

"I am only very very faintly intimidated by the possibility of your decade-worth of accumulated fans making me feel like a kid who just got into Kate Bush because of Stranger Things 4."

Well, I feel like this is a question best-suited to one of you folks. If you've been here a while, where should someone like Mr. Robert S. start? Of course, if you got into it because of the recent videos, you should start with all the recent Skybox Appreciations and Odd & Unremarkable videos, but what about after that?

Eggbusters? VG Wham? One time glitch? Game reviews? Just wait for more contemporary videos?

It's gotta be Eggbusters right?

(Also, new merch is available, as well as new music)

i would say start with eggbusters season 4 and go chronologically from there

Deano de los Muertos

I don’t dislike Eggbusters, but is it weird that it’s maybe my least favorite kind of Any_Austin video?

Aion

I mean, Eggbusters is kinda the foundation of your whole brand, and still gets a lot of love even if it's on indefinite hiatus as of now. I would say that Eggbusters EX 1 or 2 or even season 4 would be a good place to get a better understanding of what has made and continues to make the Any Austin channel is what it is. That being said, I could also see One Time Glitch as being a bit more digestible, though less comprehensive.

Eggbusters is a great way to start. Any of the Zelda videos are a good starting point (especially Twilight Princess and BOTW), and I’m sure you can get a more detailed list if you ask around on the discord server. Also check out some of the old deleted content in the google drive folder, like the Good Boy Show and the history videos, or just look around at the upload history

I'm gonna be the shitty little vg wham preacher again & say it's the best series on the channel. eggbusters is also great but it's no vg wham lemme tell ya

Yeah my method thus far, with some exceptions just due to random videos really sticking out to me, has been to work backwards from the newest videos and forwards from the oldest videos, and I've very slightly favored newer so I'm just past 100 Deaths or Less on the newer side and just watched one of the first episodes of Eggbusters s2 on the earlier side. There's really yet to be anything I haven't liked or loved so I imagine this remaining a sustainable practice for a good while until I finally land somewhere in the middle.

Eggbusters was my entry and I still return to them from time to time for nostalgia and genuine entertainment. The various Twilight Princess glitches are iconic. And while they're patreon exclusive now I love the cross-examination series, I love meta-criticism.

One Time Glitch seems like the perfect starting point to me, then into VG Wham or Eggbusters after that

Sir Chasm

I'm going to go for a very big curveball and say newcomers should start by listening to Airpods. I know it's not under your current stage name, but I feel like it is a good combination of your musical tastes (which are similar to your taste in game aesthetics), sense of humor, and overall vibe. After that, they should watch the Wave Race 64 episode of Eggbusters EX because I still think you saying "select your watercraft, please" is inherently funny.

Jonas Pedersen

I recommend VG Wham. It's so damn good. Too bad it got so few views. :'(

Aethermorn

I’d jay just jump around in eggbusters, im biased because eggbusters was how I because a fan, but after that really just going to whatever appeals most. I think it’s easier to sus out once you start getting the vibe of the content better

Thomas Stremfel

I’d say egg busters is the easy go to, but the thing that really truly sold me on ur work, sense of humor, etc. is Here’s a Podcast. It might not really make as much sense today cus u guys were covering 3ds and Wii U news, but ur conversations were still always very funny and surprisingly profound

Justine Alfano

Eggbusters to start for sure! But VG Wham has always been my favorite... As an artist, I really appreciate how you read all the developers' info before playing!! I do the same...and that Radiation Island saga kept me entertained for months!

Two people playing games is also good
