Poll 29 Results, Poll 30 and This Week (Patreon)

Another win for Arty/CAS this week, but it only scraped through with one vote! I did get a comment this week on the Apache video saying "Now do KA-52"... on the one hand, that's not a bad idea. On the other hand I can't tell whether it would be a fairly interesting comparison or if it'd just feed the 'Ruzzia stronk' online ecosystem.

Part of me thinks it would be funny to spoof it: do the introduction and then immediately have it shot down, but probably best left alone. Something else this week perhaps.

In other news, I've played through Mission 3 of the Marine campaign and got it recorded, with a bit of luck I can polish that off by Wednesday and get a run-up on next week's video to extend the breathing space.

The mission itself was pretty good actually- some cool moments, but I think my playthrough came down to about 95% terrain appreciation. I can get how deploying a certain way at the start can really punish the player. One to look out for!

That leaves this week's poll. We're back to WW2, where Arty/Cas won last time and is out of the mix, leaving Armour Penetration and Infantry Firepower to choose from. Plenty of options to get stuck into there and none of this 'current affairs' nonsense to crimp things.
