Poll 42 Results, Poll 43 and This Week (Patreon)

It always seems like a surprise when Armour Penetration wins, but it is actually the most common short type. I'll have to have a think about what to plink... Churchills maybe? Or perhaps it'd be an interesting diversion to see what happens when you fire flamethrowers at tanks? We'll see.

In other news, I had a pretty good week off last week: I only managed to make one quick video, and a dead simple boardgame and a map of an airbase to support the Winter Turn-by-Turn. No idea how useful they will be, but- shockingly- we're approaching October already, so I'd best start nailing things down.

Of course, it might looks similar to some kind of recent airfield seizure operation gone wrong, but that's pure coincidence... the difficult part is going to be actually making it interesting to play and not a shooting gallery. We'll see!

Regardless of all those shenanigans, Semper Fi Syria Mission 8 is up next. Looks pretty straightforward, but it looks like we're transitioning towards an urban fight with some uncon flavourings so I expect nasty surprises. I've wrote the basic intro down yesterday, today I just have to come up with a plan and then get it played. It's a pretty small scenario, so it hopefully shouldn't take too long and should be ready to go for Friday.

After that, it's another WW2 Unit Guide.

But of course, the polls continue: we're back onto Moderns with Arty/CAS out of the mix after winning last time, so it's down to Armour Pen and Infantry Firepower.
