Poll 44 Results, Poll 45 and This Week (Patreon)

Arty/CAS won this week, so it's time to blow stuff up again! We've just done some medium and heavy mortars, light mortars really aren't worth it in this context... might be time to wheel out something in the 75mm calibre and see how that performs. Or strafe the foxholes with something. We'll see.

The most important news this week is that the channel should be switching over to per monthly billing: the date I have is the second week of October, which I guess this is. Again, this shouldn't make a meaningful difference for you guys because it's a change from 4x£1 to 1x£4. After that, the plan is to slot in a slightly higher tier with some bonus content... I've been doing some maths (not a strong point, I know) and it's hard to justify a lower tier simply because of the baseline fee for small transactions. But we'll see!

This week's main project is finishing off Semper Fi Syria Mission 9: that's all ready to go with the narration sorted and the blue screeny overlay bits for the briefing prepped. This was a bit of a change: there are some Strykers involved now, which have fancier bits than the Marines:

Including a BFT that is much easier to film! The humvee I've been using has one like this, but the player view from the seat isn't rreally good enough. Strykers are evidently a bit roomier!

So SFS9 shouldn't take too long to polish off, then it's onto an exciting artillery based Basics video.

Loads to look forward to!

Next week, we're getting back to the Modern shorts with Armour Penetration and Arty/CAS back on the menu.
