Another victory for Modern Arty/CAS. I'll find something to torment our target with.

The main effort for this week is the third Company Challenge scenario with the Brits and their horrifyingly lacklustre firepower. It'll be interesting, that's for sure...

We're also getting to the end of the month so there's a Bonus video for the Supertruppen on the cards. Right now, I'm leaning towards showing how I'm going to convert the Company Challenge scenario into Fortress Italy so we can give the Italians a whirl.

And as usual, the plates spinning in the background will need at least a little attention.

Anyway, back to the polls. WW2 Arty/CAS came out on top last time for the World War shorts, so we're back round to Armour Penetration and Infantry Firepower.

I love and hate playing as the Brits. It would be the platoon's 2-inch mortars for me, either smoking the open ground to get closer, or providing direct HE fire. The problem is, even when they're in close, they still struggle with firepower to finish the job.

I haven't played Brits much in WWII CM. I do tend to play the Soviets a fair amount though in said genre. What's Brit arty like? I'm sure they have shorter delays for non-TRP, dynamic fire than the Soviets, right?

Yes, but the main artillery piece is the 25pdr (88mm), so it's a kind of rapid firing lighter artillery than the old Soviet "line up everything we've got and delete that grid square"

Hmm, I might have to try Brit and see what sort of artillery support can be drummed up on a more 'Soviet' theme. Muahahaha.
