Another Metal-on-Metal week, so nothing major to report here. It could be an interesting week on another front, but we'll have to wait and see.

In the meantime, on the basis that we probably do something a little fun and avoid these weekly updates being totally dead in the water... name the battle!

Two paintings of the same action in the same battle, painted by the same artist... but where is it, when is it, who's fighting and who wins? Answers in the comments!

Napoleonic warfare? Russia? No idea

Given the blokes in the top picture look like they might appear in Master of Command, I'm guessing a battle in the Seven Years' War?

I think the triangles are thatched houses, which makes it slightly less confusing

I have Master of Command and a quick look at the developer posts(not installed currently), it looks like a Prussian attack upon the Austrians. Googling info on the 7 Years War brings up Frederick the Great's preemptive attacks to retain Silesia, so likely a battle during this period. Personally, I have little knowledge of this period of warfare, so I'll stop here.

Wow, no one's figured it out? I googled again then switched to images. Battle of Leuthen, 1757? Carl Röchling was the painter?
